Watching Hikaru is an amazingly enjoyable pastime. The moves he comes up with, and so quickly are astounding to see. He does it so nonchalantly, too.
Brilliant opening prep by Hikaru. Bravo!
Thx for reminding me of this game! I saw it when it happened - it’s even more impressive w your explanations! 🙏
Beautiful commentary. Thank you!
Very instructive video Thank Youuuu
Great game, thank you 👍
Fabi's analysis is that the opening is a dead draw but Fabi messed up
Thanks for the lesson in it.
I stopped allowing the Berlin a few weeks ago for the Four Knights instead! Loving it so far!
And all this time I thought Petrov invented the “Petrov”.
Snatching victory from the agony of a seemingly drawish opening 😅 Thanks for this great victory
Thank you good sir for your amazing content. I bought two of the the books you recommended, hopefully over a year I can be as good as firiuzja ( half sleep obv)
Nice!
Re8 was worse than Qa6 is a hard one to figure out for Fabi. The queen move takes control of more squares, I guess?
Technically it was Magnus Carlsen who invented it, but nobody is going to hold it against you.

Did you say we're not going to become better chess players? Because why are we here then?
i think he misspoke. his analysis is good 😊

You better believe it.
We invent nothing in a mathematically solved game. How many games have ended in draws? This game only looks good because Black did not defend optimally. I have won many games as Black against strong opponents. Restricting your opponent's actions is not a new concept in strategy.
