South of France, the sound of crickets, the sound of freedom, freedom to let oneself follows ones intuition, inspiration, to walk among nostalgia of times more simple. Just feel like buying a lot of this rainbow of goodies. Thanks for this trip in a piece of paradise on earth !
I'm in the south of France now and took your advice and rented a car and am so glad I did. I've avoided the toll roads and have got to explore the countryside going from Vide-grenier to vide grenier. It's been wonderful.
I’m so glad! I only wish I was in France at the moment so we could meet... I’m in the Greek islands for the first time. Would have loved to hit a few antique shops while here, but haven’t seen any! Have a fantastic time, I’m so glad you rented a car. Maybe next time you come we can meet for coffee. All the best,
I’m so glad you liked the fat lava vase too! People here think I’m crazy, but I love the stuff, and have several pieces. You make me regret not getting that one... 😅
congrats on reaching 1000 and keep the videos coming. love these shopping trips as they are so relaxing and you are so fluent in french. have a good weekend💚
Oh Tobey, so glad you enjoyed it. Just filmed a wonderful vide-grenier in an olive grove across from a cut h outside Aix, but I have a few other videos to publish before I can get to it. I think you’ll enjoy it too 😄 PS as I am finally nearing 1000 subscribers, I just want to let you know that it means a lot to have had your support from the very start...
You were whipping that camera, it was nauseating. Brocante #1, had some interesting finds. The scales were great. I wish we could have seen the beautiful furniture better. I didn't see much painted pieces. #2, dusty flea market. Gotta really look close to see the treasures. I didn't see any crystal chandeliers. #3, nice wood furniture, odd things, bronze sculpture, mirrored vanity. #4, Pompeii standing planter, lovely wood dressers, cabinets, armoires. Gorgeous dishes, rose petals on branches, dessert and dinner plates. Thanks for showing us around.
Wow!! That bird cage...gorgeous! I have a similar domed cage that I stacked books in with a lamp and small plant. Makes a wonderful unexpected lighting feature in my reading nook!-
Fantastic, in a reading book no less. I bet it’s gorgeous. It hadn’t occurred to me to put books or lighting, but that would be perfect. Thanks for sharing the idea!
I spotted a French wall pocket fountain. I’ve been on the hunt for one of those.🤗Thanks for taking us along with you! Love going brocante shopping with you!!🛍
Oh, the ceramic one? I only noticed that when I was editing and thought how cute it would be removed from the wood and mounted directly on the wall of a powder room in place of a sink!
Sorry, I know my voice doesn't carry well. I'm planning to get a microphone, but there are so many, I just haven't had the chance to research them yet!
That’s good to know. TH-cam is such a gréât way To learn from others! I saw a tiny yellow one at an indoor brocante shortly after and have been wishing I’d come home with it ever since. I’ll know better than to leave one behind next time...
A bientôt !

what I find amazing in France, all over; the worst priced Brocantes are the scary junk shops! they are hoarders who really don't want to sell is all I can sort out. I've been to so many that are over the top priced and just chaos and dirty. the real sellers are the ones who do make them really nice and have normal pricing, its crazy to me
If you ever need a shopping partner, let me know! We have enough in common to enjoy the same markets, but out taste differs enough to avoid competition for the same pieces😘😘😘
Welcome! Glad you could come antiquing with me in Provence. Let everyone know what you spot in the comments!
thanks so much for the tours, love to have links to the locations posted; saw some items I would like :-)
There is a very good brocant in Leval that’s where a lot of chateau owners buy lots of goodies
I really liked the chest of drawers in the shop before this one
That bird cage is a dream wow
@@patcardiff2563 I love the birdcage too! Will check out Laval if ever I’m over that way. Thanks for the tip!

I love going to these brocantes with you. Can you tell me what villages you were in?
I enjoyed that very much. Could you speak louder as I didn’t hear much of what you said. Keep bringing us to the brocantes!❤

I’m with you on the ceramics, it’s easy to get carried away 😅
Completely agree about caging birds. Just makes me sad.
Lovely video. Thank you.
So many nice things! The teacups were beautiful! I may have to come to France to shop the brocantes for my pearl handle silverware!!
Haha! Indeed. Still haven’t seen any...
Ohh wow I love provenance region very much, also I like the Brocante markets here in France. We live here in Grenoble🇫🇷
The Gold Tray was a great buy. I have a collection and they are getting harder to find.

Yikes, I know, I really need to work on that. Thank you for the gentle prompting, and for stopping by!
Très beaux endroits. Dommage de ne pas indiquer les villes, et pas de sous titres ! Très beaux meubles et cage à oiseaux

I couldn’t cage a bird as well…but orchids would look pretty in the bird cage….
