In a previous video, we started heirloom vegetable seeds at my friend Nathalie's Parisian apartment with a view to planting them in the potager kitchen garden at her country house in the Lot Valley of Southwestern France, which goes by the name of Lavergne, where she has recently begun hosting wellness events with an option for in-house dining with home- and locally grown cuisine.
Travel down to Lavergne with me for a weekend. While there, we'll plant the potager, visit a 16th century covered market, make nettle tea for Ronsard roses and other plants, visit the medieval castle of Bonaguil as well as a garden center, and inaugurate her new outdoor sauna with its fabulous view of the grounds!

I was just thinking of you and hoping for a new video! What a pretty country home. Everything looks so green and fresh. It's been very hot here in PA so my plants have been receiving a little extra care. Will you be cooking anything with fresh summer produce?
The weather has been so wacky! I actually shot that video in May, it should have been sunny... And yes! I have a backlog of videos in Provence to publish, some of which have really simple recipes. VERY simple! The way I like them in summer. Unfortunately not with produce I've grown, though I know Nathalie has already harvested some of what we planted at her place. And you?
