SPOILERS FOR NETFLIX'S AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER S1E3 "OMASHU"
Well well well, they DEFINITELY took me by surprise with this one!
Welcome to my reactions to the LIVE ACTION ATLA adaptation from Netflix! At the time of writing this I've finally finished the series (and will hopefully have all of my reactions uploaded ASAP!) and even though I may have minor critiques, it's very clear that they have brought us a new, fresh take of this beloved story. What additions they do make, I have been loving for the most part! This new perspective of the story feels incredibly visceral and raw, and in many ways the live-action medium definitely elevates and heightens some of the humorous or dark moments. I think this series has found a great balance while tapping into the core elements of the story we all love!
