Man, y'all, I honestly had a difficult time selecting a thumbnail; I needed to balance not making an overloaded thumbnail, but at the same time...this day had so many wonderful finds and catches. A trip up to Lula with the main man @ThatModelGuyGA proved to hold a lot more in store than any of us could have expected, and although there were some hiccups throughout the day, we learned and saw a lot and are in eager expectation for the next journey. I hope you guys enjoy.

Nice catches! That rolling meet at the end couldn’t have been better. Also at 19:45 50G does terminate at Baldwin, the reason he went past is because they run around the train on that portion of double track between there and Mt. Airy, that way they can back the train into the grain facility.

my shop is 1 minute from the train depot and I always work on my boats and the rush up to the bridge if I hear one of those glorious horns. Not long ago there was an awesome meet right at the bridge
I've done some research, and 'I'm pretty sure that the alco locomotive was JRWX S2 #137. that/it was the closest that I could get.
Something like that. Online resources are very limited on this unit.

I only found your channel I think a week ago but I'm already loving it.
I'm mostly rail fan around csx's Abbeville subdivision since its closest to me, I don't know if you've filmed anything there or not but there's a lot of small towns that have a lot of good spots to watch the trains as well as film them

All I see as BNSF foreign power are GEVOs and Dash 9s... With the Extremely rare EMD, or even An AC44C4M, either way, it's just A cesspool of GE.
You and me both. I take the opportunity to see a MAC or ACe when it presents itself.
I saw 2 ACes from BNSF and A non-moving executive MAC #9712, all I saw from BNSF that was made by EMD. Both of those are on the border of God Catches and just Great Foreign power.@@LocoPro

Up through The Chicago line different story, EMDs FROM BNSF are like 1 in maybe 90 if I'm generous. You guys are lucky... That's why when I get the money go railfan on their tracks, because I keep seeing the same power from them as foreign power.@@LocoPro

Solid as usual man! One thing I’d suggest, check your camcorder’s audio settings. It sounds like the mic is picking almost no low end, and too much high end. I have a feeling that can be adjusted. Happy Holidays

@@LocoPro The low end I mean would be like the bass. The low rumble from the locomotives or the sound of the car you're in. To clarify, elevator music sounds the way it is because it has no low end, or bass.

Yeah, in all seriousness (and I'll mention this in a later video), the tripod definitely made things difficult, and you definitely improved for the next trip. Hope there's no hard feelings, because I know you and Gabe finna come after my neck at some point. 😂😂
