Awesome video. I usually shy away from painting people. But I agree they should be part of the environment. Also we each perceive a scene differently. You’ve said that before and it really made me feel peace over trying to capture exact details. When I look at artists on yt who show the reference photo with their finished painting I’m in awe at how different it looks but also how much more I love the painting. ❤Thanks for sharing and I hope you have a blessed day! 🙏🏻😊
Ahhh thank you 😊! I always forget about the first tip of everyone on the same eye level/horizon, which leads me to have my perspective completely off. I really appreciate your insight on this topic. Great video!
Interesting that you say this about paint your own vision. I saw a watercolor painting the other day by a good artist. It was a nice landscape which I liked, but my eye went to a figure that was obviously added in a formulaic way (a method that seems common among watercolorists). At least for me, it detracted from an otherwise very nice painting. I decided at that moment that I would not paint figures that way. I once saw an artist demo showing a formula for making figures easy to paint. I hadn't used it, but all temptation dissolved after seeing the result of that silly-looking add-on.
Yes! And I think that’s the biggest tragedy. When all the painting has been done with perfect mastery and immersion in the process, but then a tiny bit of it is delegated to a method, simply out of habit (: It’s a shame! Thank you so much for watching 🙏🏼😊

Thank you, Liron, for always simplifying what appears to be challenging subjects.
