I’m glad you added at the end that it’s ok to trace and paint. (I do that a lot in order to be accurate). But this video actually encourages me to try drawing something by just looking at it. Thank you so much for sharing some great advice and techniques to use to achieve accurate results.

Funny enough, sometimes it’s more practical to simply draw from observations instead of tracing. It’s mostly those instances when I end up drawing without tracing (:
