- This should hopefully fix the misfire issues we've been having with the STI ALL summer.
I am so excited for this next chapter of my life & where this channel is going to go. Thank you all so much for 5K subscribers. We are just getting started boys.
Next video is a big one for me... I set a lot of goals for myself when I started making youtube videos 2 years ago & we are finally starting to achieve them. Getting to this first milestone is a great feeling considering I've done it all on my own with little to no guidance. Nobody that lives in my area makes youtube videos, or shares this same passion for making videos as I do. We've been flying solo for the past 2 years, so thank you guys so much for the support & pushing me harder every day to achieve my goals.
We hit 5K at the busiest point in my life. I just bought my first house & shop & we've been doing a ton of renovations behind the scenes to get everything ready to create awesome content & build cool shit with you guys.

Congrats on 5K!, Didn’t see any comments on coils my advice stay Oem, I wanted to upgrade as well(building a gd sti 6466) bader advised me in one of his vids stock is what he runs all the way up to VA at 1100+

Saves me money keeping em stock so I like that advise! 😅
I find that using a feeler gauge instead of that spark plug gauge will give more accurate results. Be careful though, those tips can be easily damaged.
I was thinking the same thing. When I saw him pull out that key chain gauge. 😬 You spend that much money on a car and your not using feeler gauges. Still a cool channel and content.
You are 100% right. I use the tool for re gapping them if I accidentally gap em too tight. Left my feeler gauges at work when I filmed this video so the cheap tool is all I had 😅

The one step colder also fouls quicker if the tune is rich. FYI

Remembered when i had a misfire on cyl 4. I thought it was everything like spark plugs or bad ground or smth like that. Ended up pulling the engine and had a pistonringland failure. Was a brand new type RA short block straight from the subaru dealer after only 2500km with oem power... I was very pissed at subaru and ofcourse the dealer denied warranty because i built the engine myself...

@@DanielKellert yep but currently breaking in my new sti build that took 1 year. I finished a week ago. This time fully closed deck and all the good stuff haha. Not only the engine but I tore the complete car apart with an all new underbody now. 🙌
I always tell people if making power was easy and cheap everyone would do it. I’ve had my ups and downs but I’m tuned by Bader he was helpful during the process.

Idk how you got the compression tester in but I’m having trouble and I can get the plug back in very easily but the compression tester and the hose it just is fighting me so much.
Wow ive always been advised to run 1 step colder due to 91 octane and remapping our JDM cars big power or not.
