@@ianstiehl1994 There's no effin rolling on the ground in a street brawl. Do that and you get soccer kicked in the head by someone who decides to join the fight. Bjj is great when fighting 1 on 1 against someone who has no clue how to defend against takedowns.
@ossian108 You're actively telling this to a bartender that has used a crucifix, a guillotine, and a standing, and a suplex on the course of two different fights that broke out in my bar. So I'm gonna say cap. Whether you get soccer kicked depends on A) The situation, B) your spatial awareness, C) the crowd, and D) How much control you have over the person.
@@ianstiehl1994 I agree. It depends on the situation. A bar fight is usually different from a street fight. More obstacles (furniture), can be crowded, different levels of alcohol intoxication and so on. I guess what i said was vague. I pictured one of the Gracies "fighting" Kazushi Sakuraba by laying on his back in front of Saku. MMA fights are controlled environments, street fights, bar brawls, football hooligans fights, are not. The Gracie bs (as i described above) won't work on a street. Unless it's 1 on 1 fight against someone who has no clue about fighting on the ground.
I DON'T think that wrestling is not useful in a street fight. I've seen it work in a fight.

Ps. Staying too long on the ground doesn't sound too smart as you never know if someone else will decied to join the fight. When i was young, there were some rules. There was a kind of fight called "solówa" which is kind of slang for "solo" in Polish. Two guys working out their issues with fists. No stomping on someone who's koed, no help from others and when guy says he's had enough - it's over. There other interesting rules. Starting a fight by a cheap shot was frowned upon, people who were known for that were considered a-holes and would be punished. A guy in company of a girl (or a woman) couldn't be accosted, he would be untouchable. Sadly, these rules are long gone (in Poland).

JLB’s arm was already broken from the previous fight with hunt just before, and he still went on to fight but unfortunately couldn’t handle more pain and possible risk of irreversible injuries.
Ernesto target the arm with his midlle kick, it's clearly a strategy, and maybe he knows that Lebanner had a problem in the last fight
