@EB84 Instruments are clearly not live (takes more than a power cord to connect a keyboard and lots of cords/cables missing) but the singing seems live.

Those notes beginning at 0:53 and then again around 1:46 are super hard to hit...and sadly, even just a year or two later Don couldn't hit them. Beautiful voices--in their prime no one has ever been better.

Personally, I think Don would have been able to hit them, as he was capable of hitting higher notes than those you are talking about in other songs, live, in the 80s. But he was always improvising a lot and I think he just wanted to make it easier for himself, but I think he would haven been able to do them technically.
It's the 2 or 3 imperfections that makes this a perfect live performance.

Sorry - Don was hitting high notes for some years after this. Not sure which performance you’re referring to??
