I seen the Everly Brothers do a show in East San Jose I think in 1964, I was 21 at the time it was Thanksgiving night and we were Bowling and they asked us if we would like to see the Everly Brothers the answer was hell yes. It was at La Bues Plaza at Story and White Road. They played in the Monkey Bar. Great Show I think they were just starting out then after Chet Atkins gave then the thumbs up.

The Everly Brothers helped me write out a scene in my book of the song, “Let It Be Me”, where a young couple fall deeply in love on the dance floor, the feel of that song inspired it. it's 2019 and I still want to cry every time someone says Phil passed away. Thank GOD for Records Tapes etc, you will live forever. I was lucky enough to see them twice and will NEVER Forget XXXX RIP Phil, you are SO MUCH missed XXX
I sure do miss the 70s and 80s. The music today is not even the same. Sometimes I wish I could find a time machine and go back in time. Life was much easier and everyone enjoyed life! Is this your favorite song?
