I used somatic tracking from excruciating foot pain. I am able to walk miles now. It works. It took work on my part to feel safe with the pain. My feet have not changed but my brains response has. I did this beginning with PRT.
I used to really struggle with that awful feeling in your stomach when I felt anxious, I really hated it which made it worse. I now say , “ thank you for trying to protect me but it’s ok I am safe, I am loved , I am well and I have got this”. I also make sure my jaw, shoulders and face are relaxed when saying this, I even smile after a couple of deep breathes giving my body messages of safety 🥰
This is one of the most fascinating techniques I've learned in RO's program. It's been really interesting doing this, often in bed while I'm trying to get to sleep or when I first wake up.
I wonder, can your program help with bladder pain,frequency and pelvic pain? I ve recently come across TMS or mind body syndrome, does this approach cure TMS ? You videos are so comforting and easy to watch, thank you!

It can actually be complex response influenced by various factors, including perceived threats, emotional states, and habitual patterns.
