    Great job of fabbing that peat moss spreader, you need to powder coat it now to keep it looking good.

    I'm making a Spreader with plywood, pvc and mesh from HD. There's a guy on TH-cam that shows you how. I bought the mesh and pipe for about $40. I already have wood.

      I saw that version, but I wanted something durable and built to outlast me.

    Very nice job. No way am
    I paying $225 for peat moss spreader. LaNdzie is insane asking that much.. Most lawn tools are way over priced. A drag mat for example $200 + dollars for price of fence u drag. 😳. Don’t think so

      I will in two weeks time. I'm watering everyday. I'm following the directions, so hopefully my time and effort gives me a nice looking lawn

    you should have waited until the end of fall to over seed for better results, unless you are planning on watering your grass daily until the end of summer.

      yep. I knew that, but looking at my thin lawn for 3 months , nope. yeah, I'm watering everyday

    WHY WOULD YOU FILL YOUR SPREADER
    ON THE SIDEWALK AND NOT THE GRASS.

      just showing how much it puts out. I was worried that I used too small mesh size

      the lawn turned out good. But it cost me over 300$ extra to water it. And that was one month!

    Great job on the build. If you had to build one again, are there any changes you'd make?

    What is the current rate to rent for a day? Can you hold the price going into 2022?

    Why do you use peat moss instead of compost?

    • @farmboyfixes
      @farmboyfixes  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      three reasons ,,,you don't know the quality of compost. it may smell like manure ( especially if it rains) and worms / castings can make your lawn bumpy

      Plus Peat Moss is supposed to hold alot more moisture
