I'm making a Spreader with plywood, pvc and mesh from HD. There's a guy on TH-cam that shows you how. I bought the mesh and pipe for about $40. I already have wood.
Very nice job. No way am I paying $225 for peat moss spreader. LaNdzie is insane asking that much.. Most lawn tools are way over priced. A drag mat for example $200 + dollars for price of fence u drag. 😳. Don’t think so
you should have waited until the end of fall to over seed for better results, unless you are planning on watering your grass daily until the end of summer.
three reasons ,,,you don't know the quality of compost. it may smell like manure ( especially if it rains) and worms / castings can make your lawn bumpy
Great job of fabbing that peat moss spreader, you need to powder coat it now to keep it looking good.
"Danger will Robinson!" the moss boss on the job!!
Must have been fun building it.. I envy you..
Very funny..
Solid build 👍🏼
Tks

I saw that version, but I wanted something durable and built to outlast me.

I definitely wanna see a follow up vid. I also seen people use composted manure
I will in two weeks time. I'm watering everyday. I'm following the directions, so hopefully my time and effort gives me a nice looking lawn

yep. I knew that, but looking at my thin lawn for 3 months , nope. yeah, I'm watering everyday
WHY WOULD YOU FILL YOUR SPREADER
ON THE SIDEWALK AND NOT THE GRASS.
just showing how much it puts out. I was worried that I used too small mesh size
just curious how did the grass turn out, nice build
the lawn turned out good. But it cost me over 300$ extra to water it. And that was one month!
How did you assemble the peat moss spreader?
check out my other vid. I made it myself
Great job on the build. If you had to build one again, are there any changes you'd make?

maybe a smaller diameter to make it lighter to lift
@@farmboyfixes Thanks for your reply.
What is the current rate to rent for a day? Can you hold the price going into 2022?
Free usage for you
Fair play to you. Can we have one over here in Ireland?😂
Golfgreen? Huge mistake . Should have been using Scott's...
Why do you use peat moss instead of compost?

Plus Peat Moss is supposed to hold alot more moisture
