I really like all the satellites of the gong planet, a nursery of good musicians, good records. Thank you for all the pleasure I had listening to them on record or in concerts.👌👍
Love Steve, lovely guy, wrote some stunning stuff, and a vastly underrated guitarist, great to see him look so fit and well, after all he lived through the trippy acid period of the 60's and 70's , one on the greats .
OMG - I've had almost forgotten Steve...his name, not his music. Last night I dreamt his song and woke up with "hurdy gurdy glissando" as text... now I googled it and win back Steve Hillage ! WOW - a very great and emotional feeling. In the late 90ies all my vinyls were stolen. many first-prints. but not the money was it, my music was gone so, Steve, you always will be one of the very greats - thank you✌☮
1977 (?) Goldene Krone @Darmstadt, Germany - wow - pure hippie energy - we were all blown away (from Steve's delay playing and other -funny- things), keep on, please!
Mike Howlett one time when I was chatting to him at a Daevid solo show in Putney when I just had the urge to ask him outright where he pulled the great bass lines from.....his reply was just as forthright..."The Octave Doctors!" Well that's about as close as I ever got to any kind of answer apart from some of Daevid's replies..but I wouldn't even attempt that story.
It's wonderful to hear something from Steve Hillage again after a long time. Listening to S.H.'s music cleanses my brain.
when greats are mentioned - I hope no one forgets Steve Hillage
I certainly won’t 👍
Steve Hillage is the best drug I have ever been on.
Watching in 2023

I fucking love Steve Hillage - solid musician and versatile/ballsy guitarist who stays true to his original sound. Such a an underrated gem.

How does Steve manage the independence of guitar and vocals? I’ve been trying to play it since 1991!

A fine guitar player with odd time signatures. However, a poor singer. It’s a pity.
