I remember years ago spending a day in Si Sa Ket city. The only time I ever witnessed a purse snatching at the market. I heard a scream and saw a young guy running right towards me looked to my right and saw another guy with a motorbike thinking he was going to stop the guy. He was the getaway bike. Young punk ran within three feet of me but past by the time I realized what was going out. Spent the night in the only hotel I could find the entire building covered in bird crap . Spent the night with a towel over my head the smell was so bad.
Thank you for yet another great adventure. I am heading back to that part of Isan myself shortly after many years going attempt a big loop around by public transportation. Where are those cool ruins located?
I think those ruins are called Prasat Sa Kamphaeng Yai, and they are in the northwest of Si Saket province.
What an incredible story; I witnessed something similar once when in Tenerife, but the guy ran straight into a passing police car with 4 officers in it and they all got out and gave chase. Lol. But I've never seen anything like it in Thailand, yet. Here is a location to the Khmer ruins, Prasat Sa Kamphaeng Yai, goo.gl/maps/w3pq86Bz4z8B3Xxm6
You are spot on; you definitely know your ruins.
That looks like a place I’d like to go, and I may.
It is a lovely place. I'm sure you will enjoy it.
Nice, Brian. Loved the ruins and Sassy Sophia as always 😂❤
Thanks, Glad you enjoyed it. She is a sassy young lady, for sure. Lol
Nice
Thank you
Your video is perfect to show how live in there and the best for me, because now planing to move in there. Thanks the video
Glad it was helpful!
Hey Brian, a great look at what actually goes on at the farms in the province…temple at the end wan awesome and great drone views……another terrific video👍🏼😃
Thanks, Mauhowey. I do like getting out into the fields with the locals; it's a great experience. The Khmer temple was a fantastic place to visit; glad you enjoyed the drone shots. Thanks for commenting, pal.
Wow- Khmer temples in Thailand. I had no clue. I'm planning to see Ayuttayah and Kanchanaburi next trip, but will have to add this region either then- or after I move to Jomtien
There are many Khmer ruins all over the country; I was initially taken aback by the sheer amount of them. Ayutthaya is extremely rich when it comes to old temple ruins; it's a lovely place. Kanchanaburi is one of my favourite places, I always head there when I want a waterfall; there are so many of them. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Loved it Brian. Lovely sample of rural Issan life. Those Khmer ruins were cool and your drone shots really showed it well
Thanks, Karl. I enjoyed getting out into the fields with the locals. The ruins were incredible. Glad you enjoyed it, mate.
Big ruin.
Yes. It was definitely a big run out. Around 10 hrs to get there.
Do you mean Si Sa Ket as the maps state also the Tai people?
I'm glad you enjoyed the video, Alan.
