"imported things has gone up".. well the prices in uk and the rest of west gone up ALOT . - live like a westerner i Thailand - pay as a westerner 555 Thai produced food and things are still pretty cheap. And gone up normal rate ..my favorite local food lady has gone up 10 baht in 2 years to 60-70 baht for thaifood
but in the end if u count housing daily life clothes' shoes transportation and everything u need for life Thailand is still very cheap against most of the western world... and u stay away from the bars and girls that have gone up ALOT according to some friends here in Bangkok..its probably cheaper to "rent" a girl in Europe and America than bangkok nowadays according to them 555
