Hello Friends, this special video I dedicated to all Hardworking women out there to make an honest living and never give up by working hard every single day to support their families 🙏💐
Last month Puy invited me to her house to film this video but unfortunately i was outside Thailand at that time, that's why we can make this video now.
as you already may know, On December, she has been told that she can't no longer selling banana pancake on that spot, she asked me to help her to make video about it, the intention to make that video was to send message to government to help her and other food vendors to be able to sell street food as usual, you saw her crying on that video. fortunately the video we made went viral and now we have good news, she now able to sell banana pancake in that area, 10 Meters from previous spot. I would like to thanks Thai Officials and everyone who helped my friend Puy and other street food vendors here who earn money to support their families.

She is literally a very hard working woman. Making dough, settling her shop, 7-8 hours standing, de-settling her shop then washing the utensils on daily basis & so on. So many efforts, oh god. doing these things on daily basis is literally a task in it self. Heartful respect to this lady. God bless her & her family.

The Thai people are simply amazing and so is their culture. The 2 weeks I spent there were still the most amazing travels of my life and I can’t forget about them . My college daughter went there also and she felt the same way. We talk about going back often

I love her hustle. I've got nothing but respect for her. Working hard to provide for her family. The stresses of providing don't seem to phase her down one bit. Still is happy with a great attitude and grateful to do what she loves to do. It must be hard for her because her kids live over 400 miles away and she only sees them very so often. Not seeing them grow up every day. It makes me cry thinking about it. But she strives on with a brave face and a bright sunny attitude. We love her and root for her!

Damn. Watching this made me realise how much prep work goes into a simple street vendor's stall. She does all that before most people even wake up and then has a whole day of work ahead. No breaks on weekends since she'd get most sales on those days.

We should just pay her at least 100 baht per roti (not 40), so she could save up money enough to take time off sometimes and retire earlier.
@@markhuru Her place looks like it's a Kayha (gov housing) which is roughly 2500 baht/mo or 74 usd. I used to lived in one while working in bkk. Even if it isn't a kayha, rent is pretty cheap all over Thailand.

Lived in Thailand for 2 years as a teacher, her home, and her cart remind me of everything I fell in love with. The routine she and others like her go through daily is incredible and to be as friendly and smiling as they all are was something not to be taken for granted. Even after the long day, in tropical heat, over a gas stove, she still has an amazing glow! Will have to go back and check out your food. Awesome english btw!! Khop khun krap!!

I helped him out of the car and told him to tell the truth to the police and his dad. He did the right thing. Damn kids😂🤣

I love the fact that after COB (close of business) she goes onto preparing for the next work day. Alot of businesses that I worked at back home did not have that mentality that she has and usually has to struggle to prepare for the next work day. People need to take notes on how professional this lady is.
I have full respect for people like this woman. If only other westerners could see and realize how tough life can get for many people in places like this, they would have a much greater appreciation for life in general and maybe a world would be a better place. @@rico-himself I’m a plasterer so I’d say I have a pretty strenuous job yes. Loading in 25kg bags of plaster everyday 20 or so bags. Taking buckets of water in mixing up moving the mix and then applying so yea I think I know her pain pretty well

I had the privilege of visiting Bangkok several years ago. It felt quite safe to walk, shop, and eat at all hours. The locals I interacted with were extremely friendly and hard working. It is a great place to visit and I hope to return one day for a Banana Pancake Roti.
They are totally addictive.
It is fascinating she can leave the cart unattended amongst a line of them and no one messes with them. As a New Yorker this is unheard of. So much respect to her. ❤
@@frautay It has been years now, but I saw virtually no street crime or thievery in Thailand. It was the same with street vendors as well as the high end shopping malls which are on par with American malls. I spoke to some shopkeepers and several police officers, and they all said the same thing. The penalties are stiff and the jail conditions are harsh, so it just isn't worth the risk. What an amazing concept!!

It is very relaxing watching her prepare the dough. As small business owners, we wear many hats and work long hours, but it is rewarding to be your own boss and have independence. She is doing alright for herself too. I like seeing women being empowered.
