@setonhillstudios Air Supply has other songs like "ALL OUT OF LOVE", "HERE I AM", "LOST IN LOVE", and "EVEN THE NIGHTS ARE BETTER". Just to name a few. 🥰😍
Boy did we have it so good in the 70's and 80s and we didn't even know how good!!! But we do now that this type of group does not really exist today IMO.
'Two Less Lonely People in the World' and 'Every Woman in the World' are two more great songs! I was a little kid when their Greatest Hits on vinyl came out. During that summer my mother would lay out to get a tan on our back porch. She'd tell my siblings and I to wake her up when the music stopped so she could flip over and we could flip the record for her! Hahahaaaa! One time we were too busy playing and didn't notice the record was finished, she took a long nap and got burned on the backside of her body! Whooops! I can't help but to think about that any time I hear one of the songs from that record. I still have that vinyl! She gave me her collection when I graduated from high school! Thanks for a great reaction, as always!
FYI - I have my great- grandfather's DOBRO 1935 guitar 🎸 I see your's in background. ❤❤ I sure miss my grandma and her music 🎶 😊 thanks for sharing your love of music 😊
They are amazing. Their concert schedule would exhaust the divas today who think it's hard to tour only the top tier venues for vulgar sums of money. These guys are still rocking and rolling and it's great to see. They are a childhood favorite and my childhood was filled with their music on 8 track players in the car, records and tapes in the house. So, their touring helps me maintain my one personal fiction that I'm a young guy.
I saw them back in the 90s at the Greek theater in LA. Russell Hitchcock the dark-haired singer was hitting on the woman signing the songs to the crowd.😂
I remember joking that this note ended on the next album😂. Russell Hitchcock could sing like no one else can sing. It’s amazingGraham Russell‘s pretty good himself. i’ve seen them live five times. Damn, they’re really good live. just absolutely beautiful music. I am really like that you like it so much. I’m so glad you see the talent in this. That’s why I love watching your videos.❤️✌️🌼
These guys dominated for a period of 3 or 4 years in the late 70s and early 80s. I'm not sure why they didn't sustain, but the songs they did chart with are long-lasting gems.
I love watching Graham Russell play a right handed guitar left handed. His chords shapes are upside down and his strumming is also upside down. They sound great! I've always loved their music.
They met working as the backing band for the Australian/New Zealand tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, that's why the are so professional and have great arrangements
Air Supply - Making Love out of nothing at all. Both these Air Supply songs my first husband always dedicate this to me. He also played both songs after he abused me. Thankfully these songs don't trigger me because they're both great songs.
I have been a fan since 1980. Very underrated band and Russell Hitchcock (the singer with the dark hair) is a very underrated singer. I have seen them perform live twice and they are phenomenal! They are celebrating 50 years this year and they are still touring the world. Really nice guys as well. Check out their songs Now and Forever, Goodbye, Just as I am, Here I am, The one that you love, Making Love out of nothing at all, Lost in Love, Two less lonely people, Even the nights are better, Sweet Dreams, Every woman in the world and the list goes on......
have you seen their Hawaiian video? my daughter was born to that in 1992. I told Russell in 1994 and he still tells that story today! I'm known as Labor Room Linda by my fellow Airheads! I've only seen them 16 times, and I'm hoping to make their 50th in New York in May!!
Air Supply had a string of hits from 1980-1983 including; Lost In Love, Every Woman in the World, The One That You Love, Here I Am (Just When I Thought I Was Over You), Even the Nights Are Better, Two Less Lonely People in the World, All Out of Love, Making Love Out of Nothing at All
I saw them perform live around 1990. Both of them wore tuxedos and were holding red roses. I think that it was a Valentine’s Day show in a small venue. The music was absolutely beautiful. Such an amazing experience.
Talking about great duos and harmonies made me think about the duo 'Seals and Croft'. Not only did they have great harmonies but their musical style and blend was unique. Songs like 'Summer Breeze', 'Diamond Girl' and 'Hummingbird' will bring a smile to your face.
I remember when I was a teenager in the early 80’s (and even going into the 90’s) and my friends thought I was weird for loving Air Supply.. you were considered a bit of a loser to like them and a few other bands like them where I’m from. But I held firm to my love for them and now in my 50’s everyone I know appreciates just how amazing they are! I feel vindicated 😅
Great reaction, Steven! I love your analysis of the music. Very straight forward.😊 Lost in Love, Every Woman in the World, The One That You Love, are a few more nice songs. I suppose this would be called soft rock, which is very nice😊❤ Take care.
🇬🇧 I went out and bought this record as soon as i could, after hearing it one night on Top Of The Pops (a weekly show of the charts here in the UK). Great song, great reaction.👌👍🫂🎼
There music always makes me happy, they’re just so wonderful. The harmonies, the notes they hit. The lyrics. The music itself, all great! There song Making Love Out of Nothing At All is a fave but they have lots of great songs!❤
We were spoilt for choice in Australia with talented bands that had multiple singers and perfect harmonies. Air Supply was one. I have their best of album and it’s so easy listening and perfect. Let’s not forget Little River Band (only original members or with John Farnham), Axiom with Glenn Shorrock and Brian Cadd, Zoot, Cold Chisel with Jimmy Barnes and Ian Moss, stars with Mick Pearling and Andrew Durant, Australian Crawl with James Reyne and Guy McDonough and the Bee Gees who got their name Diwn Under when they were living there.
Yet another banger from this brilliant Aussie band 🥰 Other great songs include Here I Am, Every Woman in the World and Two Less Lonely People in the World.
These guys produced so many hits, it's wild. Wouldn't listen to them when I was young, you know how it is, lol. But I still knew the words to every one of their songs, that's how much they were played, I certainly appreciate them now though. ✌❤
Happy to see you enjoying Air Supply, they're legit. I hope you get around to checking out ALL of their hits, at some point. My suggestion for the next song would be, "The One That You Love." Have a great weekend, Steven. Take care.🤙🏼 Edit: Steven, they have so many great songs...and so many with "Love" in the title, I got my songs mixed up. I had the wrong one listed above. I corrected it. Lol. (in case you're writing down suggestions)
All right my brother Stephen.... I have to say what a shame that this band has only one one award and that was from the American Music awards in 1982. My late Aunt Kathy absolutely loved this band. I tried to convince her that the second vocalist was Frankie Valli.😂 She certainly was an "Airhead".(I remember that term) Fantastic band, fantastic memories, and fantastic reactio bro‼️💯🔥❤️😁👍🏻
Let's Gooo! His vocal range is insane. REO speedwagon Take it on the run please or Sara Smile from Hall and Oates or Sharing the night together from Dr Hook all are fire 🙏👍Great reaction and Peace out Steven 🙏 ☮️ ✌️
Steven, since you like Air Supply, let me recommend "Ambrosia" (band). They had some very similar style of music, and I think you'll like them as well.
Awesome reaction dude 😎👏🏼👍🏼 I've always heard of this band I'm not real familiar with them but I have definitely heard this song absolutely beautiful🎯 musically the harmonies are just awesome dang how many is in the band I counted 7 ,😂 Keep up the good work 👏🏼💪🏼👍🏼 🙏🏽❤️✌🏽💯🔥😎🎯🌹
Am excellent slow dance track. ❤❤❤❤❤. It's perfect for dancing as you and your honey look lovingly into each other's eyes. And yeah I'm a hopeless romantic ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Great reaction to a great band. Also check out- Lost In Love, The One That You Love, Even The Nights Are Better. You will be glad that you checked them out. Thanks
I can’t remember the other one that you reacted to, but I can remember that when you did it made me go back and explore all of their music, and I ended up buying a whole album on iTunes. If it was not making love out of nothing at all, you should try that one, and if it was, then try anything else by them. There’s nothing by them that I don’t like.
If you enjoyed this song please check out Chicago your the inspiration or Toto I’ll be over you featuring Michael McDonald in the video version Both songs amazing oh and one more that comes to mind is Phil Collins wish it would rain down featuring Eric Clapton on guitar you cannot go wrong with any of these have a great day thank you
the lyrics for that song are too easy to remember, it sounds "formatted" in a way, but they were soft rock contemporary so. Maybe it's not tailored for FM Radio.
💙"CHILDREN OF THE NIGHT", "RIGHT HERE WAITING", "HOLD ON TO THE NIGHTS", "ENDLESS SUMMER NIGHTS", "SHOULD'VE KNOWN BETTER", "DON'T MEAN NOTHING", "ANGELIA" are other great songs by Richard as well. All worthy of reactions, for sure. 💙

Truly iconic.
Just an amazing band. Still going strong!
You're becoming an Airhead! They had 7 straight Top 5 hits tying the Beatles. Underrated band.
Celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2025 and still touring.

I saw them back in the 90s at the Greek theater in LA. Russell Hitchcock the dark-haired singer was hitting on the woman signing the songs to the crowd.😂
The last note of this song broke the Guinness Book of World Records of longest note held previously held by Johnny Nash with I Can See Clearly Now.
Oh wow! That’s awesome!

Making Love Out of Nothing at All is their BIGGEST hit - and an absolute MUST listen. Can't wait to see your reaction. Cheers from Ontario, Canada! :)
It was written and composed by Jim Steinman, who also wrote Meatloaf's songs, as well as Total Eclipse Of The Heart by Bonnie Tyler.
He reacted to that song already. Check it out.
@@14gamecock Thank you - I think I actually remember that now :)
Actually "The One That You Love" was their only #1 hit. They had 8 Top 10 from 1980-1983.
🇬🇧

Air Supply! This tune has such beautiful guitar work and vocals. Shades of my youth. Good memories. ❤️🎵
They still tour. I'm seeing them in Atlantic City in March!
Oh sweet! Let me know how it goes!
@ for sure!!!!
This song went to number one.
