So many companies that are now building full drop-in conversion kits. The next 5 to 10 years will be very interesting as battery prices continue to drop.
I had been looking at EV conversions for about 15 years, and considered converting my $500 Mustang I picked up a few years ago. The end cost was around $20k to make it a somewhat usable toy, almost a daily driver quality. It wasn't worth the cost and I ended up having to put it back together real quick for daily driver status. I might do something electric eventually, but it won't be a "car."
