I love how you show models of different body shapes. Very encouraging! How about a video on monochrome looks tat aren’t boring. I love all white, all cream, all camel, all black. Also how about a video on mixing textures effectively.

This might be my favorite video yet, and that's saying a lot because I love them all! You have solved the mystery for me - I am definitely a minimalist, because I loved every single outfit. The other thing that I finally noticed and that I love about your style is the way you use your beautiful hair and hairstyle almost as an "accessory" in and of itself - it can totally dictate or support the overall vibe of your outfit in the same way a scarf might. Saving this video as one for the ages. 💕
I've been undergoing a style evolution and closet reckoning for the last few years. You have had the biggest influence on me because you provide the "why". No other style influencer breaks down looks the way you do and I find that so helpful. I never took the time to dissect an outfit and determine how to use what I already owned to create it. This classic minimalist is me to a tee and I loved this whole video!

this is honestly my favourite video series there is on youtube! I have fallen victim of buying a tons of unnecessary clothing items because of pinterest and insta pictures. i super love how you go through the process of analysing the inspirational pictures and taking clothes you already have in your closet to achieve the look, and teaching us the process!!!!! keep up the great great great work!!! these types of videos are very realistic for us viewers who are into fashion but does not have the means/desire to keep buying new pieces.

Love the video Alyssa! I appreciate you featuring photos of larger “plus” size women. As a plus size woman it can be extremely difficult to find good quality clothes that fit well. I have been slowly transitioning to a slow fashion lifestyle. It’s my own personal treasure hunt to find quality clothing in my size, color palette and body shape. Sometimes as a plus woman I think I shouldn’t buy quality clothes since they won’t fit “when” I lose weight. Or worse, I’m not thin or cute enough to wear good clothes. Yes, I have your paper clip necklace! I've been wearing my classic linen shirts with chinos most of the summer and the necklace is perfect alone or layered with a longer gold chain + pendant. Classic hoops or huggies are mye go-to earrings and a simple gold bangle are all I need to feel that my outfit is complete.

Love that you still incorporated some color in your looks. So many classic ensembles tend toward the neutral monochromatic- not that that’s bad and that pumpkin colored overcoat you wore is a gorgeous take on the traditional camel wool coat. Bellisimo!

Your grey tweed blazer (I want) and chunky grey sweater over camel trousers. Head slap, I totally own that. Every once in a while I get a bit bored with the minimalist uniform. Jeans or black pants a white tee or button down and a dark sweater or jacket. I wore uniforms for yyyeeeears! So we need to perk up minimalism sometimes. Good base! Easy to do! But a little feature which livens things up s sometimes a game changer. I have a bit of a boho streak so…….a scarf or a neat top or jacket, cool colourful shoes etc! Just to change the uniform up a bit! I like the vest over the white shirt! I like the cinnamon coat! I still have trouble with partial tucks. I feel like it makes me look like I came out of the bathroom a bit drunk! But you do it so well! I like the necklace and have been looking for a similar one.

Love the last outfit and the one with the white shirt and leather jacket most. Yes, I bought your necklace right when it came out and absolutely love it. Wear it layered with one or two longer ones all the time. Got lot of compliments on it. My friends here in France would absolutely buy it also, but it being shipped from the US makes it a bit more complicated.

I really like this video. It is the most true to my own style. Simple, minimal, practical and wearable for where I live (rural Montana). Thank you so much for sharing it. Of course, I'm going to say those tan/beige trousers are one of my most favorite looks, and I noticed you are wearing boots with long bootcut jeans or maybe straight. You look SO cool with that look.
