The bit at the end, where you talk to the widow is really cool. You always wonder what kind of “life” it lived under previous ownership. To hear it’s history from an original source is a privilege we rarely experience.
For tires, you might try ATV shops or dealerships and see if they have any free old take-off tires with very little tread left from a previous customer that replaced them with new tires. Might find some for free that will at least hold air and drive around until you pass it along.
The front looks like the size of a Honda 110. The rears look like and old version of the first Wooly Boogers, publish the circumference of them and the internet sleuths will find them!
I have one of the Pacesetters from 1977 with a 12hp Kawasaki electric start and I also have a 1982 Sasquatch with rear suspension and a 14hp Kawasaki electric start . The guy who started Commuter Industries worked for Heald at one time. Those used the drivetrain from a Club Car golf cart.
I have a pacesetter three wheeler made by the same company basically.Parts are few and far between.I love mine it runs and rides but still needs some love.Good.luck with your project.
That was a cool tool in it's day I don't ever remember seeing one I had a Three wheeler from the early 70's from no suspension to front forks to full suspension to full on race I wish I still had my 200X I can't eait to see this run or see pictures of the original owner I subbed so I can keep up 👍😎👍
Thats a deal breaker for me. I have been cruising Marketplace for used ATV wheels with the right size tires. Looking for more affordable solutions solutions! Thanks for watching
The rear tire sizes are 26x12x12. 5 lug bolt pattern. The fronts are 21x11x8. Email me at motorcyclerewind@gmail.com. I may lose track of this comment.
New sub here,, I had 2 of them the front frame to behind the engine is exactly the,, mine where tagged by John Deere as the original Gator,, mine where also 5 wheel with manual dump bed
I had a 185 s Honda🎉 I still have all the injuries I did on it in junior high and High School😮 very dangerous the only thing they're good for is trail riding you get them up to speed and you can die. I was almost one of the people who did that's why we got rid of it. The best thing that ever invented was a quad🎉 still interesting to look at.
I did crazy things on a 3 wheeler as a kid. Not sure if it’s the machine fault or me making bad decisions. 😂🤣😂 I believe that parents thought they were safer than motorcycles.
@motorcyclerewind they banned them because people died. The worst thing I ever did was go to the top of the hill and try and make the curve that you can do with a motorcycle or quad and then rolled at 25 times hanging on to it down the Rocky Hill😁 that's one of the ones that hurts to this day my left knee
If it Has a Differential rear Axle/-= Keep IT. If it Does-Not have a Differential Rear Axle, Just SCRAP that "Pure-Death-Trap"..... This is "WHY" these "Cheep-O " machines were "Out-Lawed"!!!
These are live axle , I know because I have one . VERY rare , valuable and you have to be a man to ride these . Scrapping this ? you would have to be a dumass .
@@motorcyclerewind The crossdressers they had dancing for the children at certain locations. They should be banned like Budweiser beer was for the Mulvaney crap they pulled
😂🤣😂My wife has a 1983 Kawasaki KLT250 that she uses for yard work. It’s an interesting conversation. Are 3 wheelers inherently more dangerous than its 2 and 4 wheeled relatives. Or was it the riders and parents of them that assumed they were safer. Thanks for watching.
@motorcyclerewind Three-wheeled vehicles, particularly all-terrain vehicles (ATVs), stopped being widely produced due to significant safety concerns, primarily because of a high number of injuries and deaths associated with their design, leading to a voluntary ban on their sale in the United States in 1988; with the most prominent example being the Honda ATC three-wheeler which was linked to thousands of accidents and fatalities.
They were not Kawasaki three-wheelers, really no different than a Manco Manco produce these in the early 80s all the way through the early nineties pretty much the same frame and fiberglass fenders comedy engine being Kawasaki is from there work line of engines nowhere near comparing to a klt or any other Kawasaki ATC

I agree! Talking to her inspired me to get it going!
I've watched your videos long enough to know you'll make it run!
You're probably right!
love to see you fix it up
After talking to the widow I really want to bring this guy back to life. Thanks for watching
Oh man that has to be restored. It's about as rare as my Tule Trooper
Think that's what we are going to do.

😂🤣😂 I love it too. Has factory CB Radio.
@@motorcyclerewind did you buy it from the guy who bought it new?
Spray it down with evaporust and see what happens. I'm sure there is a collector out there that has interest in it.
I am sure there is! Interesting piece of history.

🤫
Gonna start moving some of them to your house!!
Saw the thumbnail and immediately new it was a “pacesetter” at least that’s the orange ones

the green model is called the sasquatch and it should have reverse is the only difference I see
Man, you gotta make it run. I would never punt that down the road.
Video of me trying to. get it started comes out today! Thanks for watching
Rebuild it!....❤😊
I think I will! Thanks for watching
That would look cool hauled around in the back of a Cushmann Truckster!
It would be like when Fred Flintstone ordered his ribs at the drive in! IYKYK
Worked on that stuff at work . Check valve lash , clean the carb , rewind the starter . She should run
Check out today’s video to find out. Thanks for watching.
Connor4x4 said that tires are $500

Cool find , i like the heavy duty frame but i can't imagine the suspension ride off grid . i bet the engine wouldn't take much to fix.
Only suspension you have is how much air you out in the tires. Thanks for watching.
Ship it to American Restoration in California and it’ll come back like brand new! Get a quote in advance.
That’s a great idea. Not sure this $500 3 wheeler warrants that kind of attention. 🤣😂🤣
Nice ATC all terrain cycle
Really cool. 😎
Looks like it has the High Speed Forks.
🤣😂🤣
This is cool
Thanks for watching.
that thing is to cool
So cool. 😎
that’s crazy you only have to leave the house and here we go intresting ❤
It’s crazy. Go to @tractorsupply for 2 bolts and come home with a 3 wheeler. Thanks for watching.

It's a prototype!!...❤😊
I think he. may have special ordered it in green.
Make it run
Yes sir!!!
Looks very similar to the John Deere 5 wheel gators
I wonder if they made them for Jon Deere. I saw the commuter version on this site. threewheelermanuals.com/commuter-industries
It would make a sweet pit bike
Yea it would. Thanks for watching.
Fix it and do another video on it runnung

id restore it all the parts you need are available hell i even found manuals for them online but not to your specific model
Like you, I have found manuals too. Parts manuals appear to be hand drawn. Pretty crazy. Thanks for watching.
@motorcyclerewind if you sell it how much you asking for it is the motoror gear box seized
A little work and it will be ready for the tractor pulls .
Sign me up!!!😂🤣😂
I’d like to see that!
Restor it!!!
Sounds like a plan. Thanks for watching.
That thing is probably worthless, but kind of cool. The engine could be worth more without the rest of it. ATV tires aren't super cheap....
You hit the nail on the head. Super interesting
You might wanna do you research , they can go for 2,500 or more . VERY rare .
