Troupe beat Prather in a roll off to get to the finals, then beat Simonson in a roll off for the title. That's two TOUGH guys to beat, so the title is very well deserved. I was rooting for Prather, and then for Simo, but Troupe earned his wins.

I HIGHLY doubt they'd drop him. Wtf? He has seven titles. He's gotten second a crap load of times, which is still considered successful. He has the unenviable task of meeting really, really great bowlers in the Finals. All of those losses against Belmo have probably taken their toll, regardless if the guy is the GOAT or not.
Not to mention, he's one of the most gifted bowlers of all time. The way he takes advantage of lane conditions, not to mention the fact that if the right side gets burnt he can switch to a backup ball.. I mean, he has everything. @@Tcrror I highly doubt EJ would ever throw Storm. Motiv just made a ball in colab with EJ. Plus, Motiv's equipment tends to have a blendy feel to every ball, like they all will blend the lane out front to back and side to side. Storms is...backend city. But EJ likes the characteristics of Motiv's equipment, hence why he has been with them for a very long time.
You don't have unlimited frames to figure out if it was you, or if it was the lane breaking down. Also, the bowlers don't have the same access to information (like ball speed, revs, board at the arrows, and breakpoint) that we do, so they adjust based off of feel more than you'd imagine.

What a bunch of bullshit.!! I was bowling without my thumb in hole 25 yrs ago and was told I could not be in a league cause must have all three in the ball or does not count. I would carry 250 average no thumb. Was at 180 all three.!!

The idol that simonsen is throwing is illegal for a 2 hander. USBC says any hole drilled in the ball must be used in the delivery of the ball.
