The Sourdough Trials : Hot Dog 🌭 Buns PLUS Salsa Bread for The Weekly Bake

It's still grilling season, so this week I made sourdough hot dog buns. Much like the hamburger buns I made earlier this month, this recipe made a sturdy bun that can hold up to all your favorite toppings. But they may be too sturdy, as the brats we put on the buns tended to slide off the side of the buns. The flavor and texture was otherwise good.

Then I tried the viral TikTok trend and experimented with salsa bread. I added salsa for half the usual water amount, added a bit more water in the mixing process, and was pleasantly surprised by this tasty bread. And it was such a pretty color!
