This is a great recipe to add to your pumpkin baking collection. The pumpkin puree adds a subtle pumpkin flavor and color to the bread, while the pumpkin spice smells and tastes great.
Using food safe baking string forms the pumpkin shape, and a cinnamon stick finishes the look.

Back with another One Pot Pasta video, this time for One-Pot Pasta Puttanesca. This pasta dish generally has tomatoes, olives, capers, anchovies and garlic, but this stripped down version omits the anchovies and garlic. I accidentally bought vermicelli instead of linguine, and I think that may have affected the texture negatively, using the thinner noodle. All in all, it was still edible.

Youcould toss the apples with some flour to make them dtick more. Idk if it would work well with cooked apples tho as they release do much liquid. The bread sounds delicious, i love me some apple cinnamon combo

Haven't made Puttanesca in ages. Yours looks delightful. BTW, my favorite pasta shape these day's is Buccatini. That would be wonderful in this dish.

I use the celery leaves whenever I can, too. They have so much flavor!
You don't really get a lot of leaves from celery bought at the grocery store, but when I get it from the farmers market, I freeze the extra leaves and use in soup later on.
I have got to get me a Danish whisk. I don't make bread, but I do bake some. Maybe I will start after I get the whisk!

Huh?? And why would you cut it to save it? You are only increasing the surface area and encouraging it to go bad sooner!
I cut when I was ready to use, and used half for dinner that night and the rest went in the freezer. But always a good idea to have food safety in mind!

One question: how do people usually eat such hard crispy bread? Epecially those crusty edges? It is impossible to chew it down. I am not a fan of eating bread with any soups or liquid so I am not sure how else can I eat it. I have this very problem with french baguette. How in the world do you eat that? 😅
Good question! I've definitely had some hard crispy bread, but I find my sourdough crust is generally not so crunchy.
But, did you still eat it and was it good? Or did you feed it to the chickens? lol
It was too dense and doughy and oily, so I just threw it out. I wish I had peeled the top layer off and tried it, though!
Great recipe, however, I don't use table salt in my cooking anymore. I find it gives the food a funny taste.
What do you use instead of table salt?
I use Kosher salt or Pink Himalayan salt. Both have a natural flavor. @@birchtreekitchen

This is heinous in ways I can’t comprehend or describe and an embarrassment to the word taco and the fake fish that was killed to be in those soggy sticks A Filet 'O Fish is closer to a real fish sandwich than this is to a fish taco and probably far more appetizing.
