- Finally an update on my Lexus 4IS bumper conversion for my 2006 Lexus 2IS IS350. Today i go over how to do it, what it cost and how darn clean it looks.

Man, Lexus has cars that never age, looks like a new car
Your edge between the bumper and engine cover is near perfect. A lot of ppl mess up that and I can’t imagine how frustrated I am if my Lexus looks like that. Great job!

You should get the facelift mirrors with turn signals, it would tie in the look
Ive always liked the look of the 4is front bumper, but hate the rear of the car. The 2is has the best "ass" out of all the generation. So this is a good combo.
Damn this is the dream build for me. Before I do this I need to figure out what I wanna do with the gummy door panels cause that makes me cringe in the AZ heat
check if its still under a special warranty at your local lexus dealership i got all my panels and dashboard replaced for free on my 08 ISF

Looks so much newer than before but the panel gap between the bumper and the bonnet really bothers me.
It's strange how you can see the black rubber where it meets the hood. I plan on getting a body colored one tbh
What do we do with the parking sensors and fog lights? Is there any way to continue to incorporate these?

Do you think this bumper would work with the 2014 Lexus IS 250C (convertible)?
It should work. Might be a slightly different version for facelifted 2 IS
If you talk to the seller tell them what you have and they will for sure have one that fits
did you make any adjustments in order to fit it in perfectly and 2nd how long did it take to receive it and thank you
i am having a hard time to fit the front grill in the bumper did you have any issues at first
Where did you get the blue fog clips for the fog light covers?
Also they just came out with taillights check them out
Hey man, I just got my bumper in today, but no screws were included, did yours also come included with the purchase of the bumper?
Mine were not. I went down to home Depot tbf and got some outdoor screws for a few bucks
Worked perfectly

And for the screws, I just went to my local hardware store going to go out a pack of 5/8 metal screws. Did the job perfect
How did you do install front license plate did you drill holes
Just did this to 06’ is250 but I can’t figure out how to fix the gap between the hood and the bumper, any suggestions?
Is it a bigger gap then mine? You can still see a bit of the weathersripping no matter what you do ive found. But definintly make sure to use bolts on the areas where the grill bumper and hood meet for as close as you can.
Sigh I miss my atomic silver Lexus 😂 I have an onyx black one now … lol
What about the parking sensors?
Sorry if you went over it in the video but did the bypass wires for the headlights end up working? My car is Canadian too it doesn't show up in tech stream to disable drl's so i paid the dealer $145 to burn my clutch out and move my seat pretty much 🤣
I ended up getting a new piece from the manufacturer to bypass this. Was just plug and play easy Into the headlight!

no, but there are other aftermarket solutions that add them to the bumper!

Nope I used / modified the old ones with a Dremel. Needs a tad bit of cutting to fit perfect
Did the grille pieces come glossy black already? and did the badge come with it?
It did come glossy black, and for the badge I had to Buy it from the same seller as the bumper. They ship it seperate

The original ones work fine, but I also got new ones myself

My bumper is coming but I have the headwasher openings in the bumper, but how is it with the fog lights,, is there a way to use them in the 2021 bumper?
Sadly you can't use the stock fog lights with the 4is bumper,
But I've seen a line that some people have LED fog lights they fit in the slot of the side vents.
To be fair, I never used the fog lights much myself
You told in your video 1000dollars, mine was with shipping 680 euro s. Paint wil cost 350 euro s. New lights are also coming front and the latest vland taillights. But there is a problem front light led is to bright and I need a dimmer,, do you know something about it how to solve it?
1000 CAD = about 680 euro
As for the headlights sadly I don't have VLand headlights so I can't comment but I'd say reach out to the seller of them.
Which Lexus emblem fits? Seems many kits don't come with it
You have to ask the seller of the bumper for the emblem. They will ship it to you separately
Can you run the stock headlights on these bumpers or do you need 4is headlights

If you mean the one inside the 4is grill, bought it from the manufacturer of the bumper
Did you have to do any trimming?
Yes, trimming is required for 06-08 models. Can’t speak for newer models.
You paid $250 is that right?
Did you had to do any modifications to make it fit ?…. Do you know if will fit is250
No modifications. I removed a foam piece between the bumper crash bar and the bumper so it fit a tad better, but that piece is not important for safety or anything so its all good!
I also had to drill holes in the fender liner where it meets the bumper so i could put clips in where they should go for the new bumper!

I have an other question…. What did you do about the fog lights?
Disconnect them,
Although some people are molding in their own custom ones to fit the slit on the new side vents
I plan I'm doing that as well to mine this summer!

How long did it take to ship?
About a week to ship, took 2ish months to arrive after ordering!

Same place you can get the bumper conversion from. They will ship you the emblem separately!

It came with the grill and bumper yes. Always good to double check what it comes with though from the seller you're buying it from

Or would you have gotten a different Lexus after selling this one if you could do it all over again and have the $2k spent refunded
Personally i think it was worth it. I could go up to a different Lexus model like a newer IS350. But i dont think they look great unitl 2020+
which would cost alot more then 2k extra!

Around 3 months, it came by boat over sea from China to central Canada
Just placed the order, supplier appreciates the referral. There are 2 versions of the mold - looks like you went with the version without the headlight washer.
