I got a mod for you . Best mod hands down. Hands down! Most IS models come with Lights under the mirrors. They are called puddle lights and and when you have the key fob on you and walk near the car these light up. Iran blue LED under both sides of the car from wheel to wheel just on the sides and tie it into that power.. So now when I walk near the car it lights up blue underneath it

You'll have plenty of options for wheels on the 250. Not limited like 350 owners. Here I'm still looking for the perfect wheel 7 months later. Pretty much just resigned to deep dish wheels as concaved spokes will hit my brake calipers unless i get spacers which is a whole 'nother issue lol

You easily cut a whole the size if a small lemon in the air filter box and get a better sounding force induction totally free sounds super sick its just like having the isf air intake without having to pay hella money for it i love hearing it sounds like its supercharged imo
got the Vland Headlights, 4IS rear led light, rohana rims, got the led door light, led reflectors, ducktail spoiler... need the windows wind deflector, and a diffuser now !

Those LED reflectors are great. I had them on my car, but I had to remove them, because they are not legal in the UK. They don't reflect light, so will fail the UK MOT check.

I saw a car that was modded like yours. Lexus IS second gen. It lost control in the rain and was a banged up on the side. Total loss... because apparently it’s easy for insurance companies to “total” these cars. It was a sad sight. IS met its end...unless someone decided to rebuild it and after it has a nasty salvaged title!
@@ChristianMastrile it was just some dude who lost control and he hit the guard rail while exiting the freeway. He was fine, I saw him standing outside his car talking to police and other bystanders. Sucks though , because knowing how people love their IS beauties , it’s sad to lose it. Maybe he can repair it but if insurance declares it a “total loss”, he would need to find a body shop and pay a large chunk out of pocket to repair it... and have a salvage title attached to it.
Super unfortunate. That price tag he's going to come up with is prob going to be hefty with all that damage. And not sure if that salvage title will be worth it 🙈
New to the channel, loved the video! Currently thinking about selling my 18 Civic Si for an 08ish IS350. Both will be reliable long term, but I honestly think I’d love the 350 more even if it doesn’t have a manual. Plus I’ll have a chunk of change left over from selling my Si. Bought it new and could sell now for close to what I bought it at with 58k mi on it. Am I crazy for considering this? Thanks!
Ooof that’s a hard choice on one hand you have modern technology and a very capable car in the Honda. The 2is is definitely outdated in terms of technology but it redeems itself in the 0-60 category as well in the comfort and reliability. If it were me in your shoes I’d probably look for an ISF instead of the 350. But if you don’t need 350+ hp than the 350 is perfect.
@@64DQ Man I’d love an ISF, but also trying to keep overall costs down. I have a long commute 3x’s/ wk and would hate to start racking up miles so quickly on such a rare car. I definitely appreciate your insights on the matter though! 👊

My civics lifetime fuel economy is just shy of 41mpg (mainly Highway mileage). I’m also having a tough time giving that up 🤣 There is a lot to be said for the smiles per gallon a 350 would probably bring as well.

Been following your build from the jump! I got a 09 awd its been hard trying to decide on coils. I think ive been held off on it just because of the whole vibration thing i keep reading about plus they dont make any mid pipes for the awd models :/
Appreciate the support from the beginning fam! I have Tein coils on mine and i love em. BC seems to be the standard for a lot of people tho but man the mods offered for the awd are different from the rwd it's crazy.
You presented the cheapest mods , but what about the most expensive ones ? Is that next? I assume replacing the bumper of the IS second gen to the current scowling grille of the third gen would be in that list ! Oh and I like the carbon interior. I kept my the default wooden panels because it makes it more classy and “old dude driving this car” look. I ain’t old but I just like it lol.
Man the expensive one's might turn into a checklist LOL front bumper def on there, air suspension, wide body, cf hood, the endless possibilities. Shoot all preference at the end of the day if you like it forget what everyone thinks haha

Wife and I love to be unique and love unique cars that’s why we’ve owned mini coopers, beetles, Nissan Cube, Honda fit, and so … we love quirky cars. But it was time for something reliable and comfortable for the time being. 😊 And not hating but I found that statement funny.
I can definitely respect that! For the younger generation who don't have the funds to afford may different cars but have a reliable and comfortable daily, while being unique is sometimes all we can do. That was mainly what I meant haha I bought this car when in college and was my only car so being able to be unique and reliable at the same time was kind of a 2 for 1 deal. All love!

From what I know is that the 06-08 have a different front end from the 11-13. Other than that not much I know about the differences. Hopefully someone else can chime in
For the interior lights, I'll advice you get the pure white led Phillips bulbs. After trying so many I realized they last longer and look way better than others (cold white).

I went from a 2018 si to a 2019 type R to an 07 is350 and love my car plus its paid off!
