I bought the same brackets 2009/10 that work with this bumper only. Seeing as it snapped in very well with your previous headlamps and it stopped snapping into position since you put the HC motions, I would think that the bumper has been hanging in the headlight area instead of being clipped in maybe? I’ve got the other 4IS style lights with these brackets and the bumper seems to snap into the bracket very nicely. I had to keep the two upper headlight bolts loose to allow me to wobble it while it snaps in. Then I bolted the headlight tight and it lined up perfectly. I’ll see how well it holds up in the long run
Ahh so you left the headlights loose and then snapped in the bumper? Than tightened the headlights down after? I'm going to try this.. as I am having issues with this bumper not snapping into my 09 brackets.
@@santis9467 yes I left the top accessible bolts of the headlights lose so the headlight has slight movement and adjustability then I managed to get it to click perfect then I tightened the headlight to that position
@@ahmed24s hey i saw your short for getting the slim card key that works for your car .. Are you able to tell me which I'd need if I'm in the US.. If possible? Please and thank you
Love your vids, keep up all the good work! I had the same problem with my 4IS bumper conversion on my 2012 IS250. The bumper would stay in place only for a few days and would always sag and disengage from the headlight brackets, after driving or staying under the sun for a few hours. I tried repositioning the headlights, the brackets, buying new oem headlight and side bumper brackets, using nuts and bolts to avoid the stretch from the clip-on plastic "nuts", where the bumper ends screw onto the fender, etc... None of it worked, it kept sagging out of place 😓. The only solution I was able to find, that solved the problem definitively (3 months and counting, has never come off the brackets again), was to fabricate two 90° angle metal brackets, that hold to the back of the grille support and "pull up" and hold the weight of the bumper, to the bottom side of the bumper's cross-member support. I could send you a pic of them installed, if you can tell me how to (I don't know if it's possible, how to send pics via TH-cam? 😅).
@@silverbullet4007hey! are you able to share some pics or post a video showing what you did? How is it holding up after all this time? ... Do you have an IG maybe that you could post them on? Sorry i posted a comment and it looks like it got taken down or something?
@@John--JohnI installed mine over a year ago, still holding in place. I'll try to post a vid this Sun, here on TH-cam, of the brackets I made. Keep in mind, it's nothing fancy, just a means of having the bumper/grille not sag in the middle, due to its own weight.
would you consider a lsd swap with the frs?! love the vids and they've helped me with all the istalls haha but want to swap the open diff for a lsd from the frs which many say work. you should do one and help all of us out!
maybe get some black rubber like the weather stripping on the middle of the bumper and adapt it under the headlight, should look better then the bracket showing
lov ur videos man. looks great . question . i havent done the conversion and had to adjust my coilovers and leave some gap so i could front park 😂. does that bumper fits lower or its the same as the stock one ? thanks in advance . greetings from Puerto Rico
eBay is probably same. Only reason I ordered Car Act cause I was one of the first in USA since I ordered early before all the sellers did. I had to get a case of 6 to make the crate worth it. If you can get an eBay usa 🇺🇸 shipped one, that’s better deal.
If it’s ever complete, it would no longer be a project car
thanks for uploading my guy been watching for years

I’ve had one sitting here for 3 years. Haven’t gotten around to it.

@johnluismyname nope. They are cheap anyway. All over eBay for like $300

I solved the gap under headlight on mine. It’s the little veins to the outside of the headlights brackets. I trimmed mine and it no sits as it should
The little veins?
Are you going to do the 4is taillights conversion? Hc motion just released them

Fits probably higher than a stock bumper.
Keep up the good work man 🔝👍
That things looks so clean 🔥
Do you still have any bumpers for sale? I live in Florida also
Does it have fog lights ?
Love your videos dawg!
I think it the edge that is too long.
But yeah you probably have to leave it as is.
I’ve been watching for a while now I have a 2003 lexus is300
What happens to the fog lights when doing the bumper conversion, and does the car throw any errors on the dash when the fog lights are disconnected?
No fogs. No lighrs.
Love your videos...
Do you recommend the CarAct bumper or the eBay bumper?

@@TunerwithKids did they come with the sensor holes?! Thanks 🙏🏾 for your advice
@LavishDigitalz they came with washer holes that I filled. Sensor is in the grill.
what kind of lexus emblem you used for the bumper?
The one they sent. It’s a odd ball tabs and hole.
I've been thinking of doing this conversion on my 2is
I would be so annoyed!
