Windows support is like "Have you asked the program nicely to stop running? Maybe use the task manager?"
This guy straight up goes. "Program running when you don´t want it too? Shoot it in the leg so it fucking cant."

Thanks for sharing your thoughts! It can be frustrating when unwanted programs keep running. To resolve this, you can try using the Task Manager to forcefully close them. Simply press Ctrl + Shift + Esc on your keyboard, locate the program under the Processes tab, and click "End Task." Hopefully, this helps! Let me know if you need any further assistance.

The registry setting is what worked for me. I had Game bar and XBox disabled, but it was one app, not a game. It is my own desktop app, installed by Advanced Installer. I have a dozen other apps I built the same way installed, but Windows thinks an app named Runner, (to store running distances and times and notes) is a game. Thanks

Thank you for sharing your experience with the registry setting. It's great to hear that it worked for you in resolving the issue with Windows mistakenly identifying your desktop app as a game. It's interesting to hear about your app Runner for tracking running distances and times. Keep up the great work with your app development!

I deleted the files in my package folder, but when I ran the power shell command, a red message showed up saying that two of the files were not able to be redownloaded. Is that going to be a problem?

I'm sorry to hear about the issue you encountered with your package folder. It's possible that the missing files could cause problems. To resolve this, you can try reinstalling the software or restoring the deleted files from a backup if you have one.

Missing the power shell command to copy paste. Dislike.

Hi there! I understand your frustration with the missing power shell command. To copy and paste, you can use the shortcuts Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. I hope this helps with your copying and pasting needs. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Thank you for watching our video.

The last one for me, I had already uninstalled all the Xbox with related crapware, so editing registry was the only way and it made the trick.
