Honestly, I had jumped from windows to Linux a couple months ago (and didn't really miss it). I loaded youtube one day and saw a video by X-Lite. Decided to try it in VMware and, well, here I am now.

I installed Windows x-lite but then I got the message saying "windows not activated" how's that? I thought this windows was already activated, or what I'm doing wrong?
X-Lite is not a cracked OS. It is a stripped down LEGIT copy of Windows. If you have a key for Windows 10 or 11, it will activate the X-Lite install...unless you are unfortunate enough to have a "Pro for Workstations" key. You will need to buy a retail Pro key. Digital keys can be purchased on the cheap all over the web.
One other question I have is what kind of programs can you install on this thing? Can you install Microsoft Office or whatever they’re calling the office suite these days can you install adobe products? Can you essentially install any program that you would normally install on windows?
No. all flavors of X-Lite Pro (Optimum, Neon, Micro, Atomic) still use the same MS activation process. If your PC already has a Windows 10 Pro or 11Pro key active, then X-Lite should auto-activate after install.
I just got to the part in the video where it talks about windows updates now does it tie into the actual Microsoft Windows updates or is it tying into this companies essentially rip off of windows for Microsoft where it will be issuing its own updates of its own operating system?
Looks very cool! Btw how can you prove there is no backdoor/scam/keylogger/bitcoinminer pre-installed? Especially if you chose install without defender?
Don't install this. I'm certain this breaks the terms of service for Microsoft. Also, this requires you to disable security on windows to set up which is already sketchy. This could have a backdoor trojan or sniffer to steal your info or possibly even cryptocurrency. You can remove bloat from your PC manually to speed up your PC without having to risk your Info or data.
Bitcoin can no longer be mined on computers! It requires an ASIC. Any keylogger/Bitcoin miner/backdoor is not present as I am using it from a long time, and also a crypto miner will lead to very high cpu usage like 100% and show something like XmriG on taskbar.

If your pc has microsoft win11pro installed with bios activated key. Do you still need to buy a key?
No. all flavors of X-Lite Pro (Optimum, Neon, Micro, Atomic) still use the same MS activation process. If your PC already has a Windows 10 Pro or 11Pro key active, then X-Lite should auto-activate after install.
The OS run Chromebook video please
Where can I download his Windows 7/Vista/XP builds?
I just got to the part in the video where it talks about windows updates now does it tie into the actual Microsoft Windows updates or is it tying into this companies essentially rip off of windows for Microsoft where it will be issuing its own updates of its own operating system?
Can you play steam games on this and what would the performance be like?
How do you know if it's safe? And if there's something sleeping there to wake up in the future
I thought the same, finally a Person with some Brain.
Currently i am using micro 10 and tbh, i didnt found any issues regarding trojan horse or spyware whatsoever..

23H2 is a little buggy.
22H2 worked flawlessly.
This is the best windows 11 os for low end pc🎉🎉🎉
I just installed it. No custom start menu.
Looks very cool! Btw how can you prove there is no backdoor/scam/keylogger/bitcoinminer pre-installed? Especially if you chose install without defender?
This.
@@speed4414 sorry i dont get you
Don't install this.
@@loadingdotexeidk ok dont grab one piece from what im trying to say. The point is that this cannot be verified properly, end of story
i installed this os
And it’s running everything with admin , how to stop that
