My son has been going through a bit of a rebellious phase lately, and I added a little clip of that at the very end. 😂I’m already preparing next week’s video, and it will be up at the same time as this one! Your comments are my motivation-Arigato!

Miwa, you are right about the importance of cooking at home whenever possible. What helped me was realizing the meal didn't have to be elaborate everyday, and that even a simple meal prepared with whole foods was much healthier than fast or processed food. By the way, your tableware is beautiful!

What a beautiful meal!! Your son reminded me of myself when I was his age. I used to get so annoyed with my parents and to be honest, I didn’t always have a reason!

I definitely will try the soup recipe next week!!! :) I still have dumplings in the freezer. After my exams (which went really well!) I am now slowly trying to get back into routine but it's hard since my body still feels very tired. I took a break from cleaning with watching your video and stretching a bit and now I feel reset and ready to tackle my chores. Thank you for always calming and inspiring me with your videos ❤️

Could you please show us how you set a table and what tableware to choose for the rice, soup or sides? You can show us the tableware you are selling while explaining how they might be used. I am interested in this since it is different from my own tradition. All my dishes match instead of being different colors and styles. I was taught to stack them depending on the courses since they are served separately instead of together. There was often a bread plate to the side and a water glass and possibly another drink and an order to the silverware. I have noticed there is a tradition and an order for setting a table in Japan, but I don't quite understand it yet. I would love to see a video about this.

I don't move a lot as well. Mostly it is while doing house chores. We have stairs in the house so that is extra excercise.
I know the rebelious face; my daughter is really starting to act like a teenager. And it can be a challenge. She's going to secondairy school next year so we'll probably have a lot of this for a while😅

    みわさん、
その「if you have time to scroll on your phone, you have time to cook」についてお聞きしたいんですが。

I would caution you against saying condescending comments like "if you have time to scroll on your phone, you have time to cook and clean up from meals". It won't sit right with a lot of people. I am lucky enough to have the time and energy to cook, but I know people who don't. Since you are an entrepreneur, that actually gives you a lot more time flexibility than someone working 2 jobs, b/c you are your own boss and set your own hours! Just wanted to share :)

Thank you for sharing. I understand Everyone has a different schedule and opinion.
I'm hoping the society allows all of us to have even 5 mins to cook or be mindful about what we eat.

I didn't find it condescending. She's right. A lot of us spend time mindlessly scrolling through our phones or being unproductive. It's not that you have to cook, but even on Duolingo it says the same thing. Instead of the 15 mind or more spent on social media, I learn a language. Instead of coming home and sitting on the couch, I straighten up. I'm sorry you felt guilty behind that, but some people like me do need a reminder every once in a while that there are more productive ways to spend the day.
