UT Lack Of Root Fusion Signal

This video demonstrates the Ultrasonic Testing signal when inspecting a weld with lack of root fusion. Equipment: Olympus EPOCH 1000i UT tester, 70 degree, 4Mhz, 10mm diameter transducer. Welded base metal is 0.625" thick carbon steel plates.
