Another good tip before final mastering (which can decimate CPU performance once you start using plugins like Ozone) -
Render the entire track down to a 24-bit wave file, then load that single WAV up as a new project and master from there.

Omg the cpu performance change my life I was able to make my Melodie’s and I was taking my time with it until I started adding my drums in cause before I was adding my drums and then it got really slow and I didn’t know what was causing this but I typed in this title of the video and it popped up and I watched it and I did what you did from the video and it works for me and I needed a video like that in my life and this video is good I give it an a plus 100%

"Boosting hi freq, use stock FL EQ plugin, except you need a mid side one" boosting hi preq on for example Pultec eq/maag EQ, even on 3db is having big difference in quality(any more less experienced producer 'll tell you)! By boosting you will not reach that quality of hi freq with stock plugin, except you have already processed well, especialy synths!!! Don't mislead starters!

Uhh first of all, that just isn't true what you're saying. FL studio comes with a ton of tracks proving that you can indeed make industry grade music with stock plugins :)

Not to mention, stock plugins in pro tools are amazing. Stock plugins in reason are FUCKING amazing. Fl studio's are a little meh, but i use them in conjuction with 3rd party plugins.

@@EmilioParker well tbh, I use fl's stock plugins super sparingly. I like parametric eq 2 because it's pretty good at hard cuts when I need them, but I also end up using other 3rd party eq's for midside eqing. I also really like fruity limiter for sidechain compression. Specifically with my kicks and bass. Simply route yout kick channel to your bass channel, and on the bass channel, open up fruity limiter, select channel one, and adjust the settings. It's good for easily binding nearly any kick and bass. Depending on how hard you slam it, and if you give it a long release, you can also get that nice club style sidechain, if that's what you want. But mainly, I use SSL plugins and waves!

I described the fruity limiter sidechain compression pretty bad, but you should look it up on youtube - it's something that I do all the time! I also sidechain my kicks to my hihats. Gives them more dynamic when they duck under the kicks

If you do change the properties in windows, make sure to turn it back to default after you're done with FL studio. Have 100% CPU usage when not required is bad news for microprocessor
