For me the smart disable for all plugins did the trick. Thank you so much. btw it was weird because my task manager said that 35% of my CPU was in use, while fl said it was 90+
The CPU display in FL is misleading. It doesn't display your total CPU usage, or even how much CPU FL is using. What it displays is "the percentage of time required to fill each audio buffer, compared to the buffers length." - In short, it tells you how much space/time/room you have left before your audio cannot process in real time anymore. While yes, the CPU usage does have a factor in how low this is, it's not the only factor. That is a quote from the manual btw

Suddenly today i loaded my project but can't click on anything. The project is loaded, but I can't click literally anything. The cpu bar in fl studio is showing 18, 1798. I don't understand what that means but I thought my cpu is full so i followed your tutorial, but the problem still persists. I don't know what to do 😢
The CPU usage is crazy in FL but why? I don't have the sound issues in Cubase that I get in FL just using a synth. But I don't use any FL plugins, cause I don't know how they will translate when I upload to Cubase. And I like how they sound. So I only use the stuff I use in my other DAWs. FL Studio is noisy. I use channel strips. And there is quite a difference in sound and performance. Between the different ones. I am still new to FL so still seeing how things sound.

I did all but it still can't work. It's still the same. What's worst is that my fl studio version is 10. So what am I doing wrong?
