Interesting. Paths working is a plus. Possible to have enemies stray from path to chase player and then return to path or is that too complex?
That would need navmesh. The driller lurker is the only enemy I know of that doesn't need/use navmesh. It fully relies on path.
@@LuminarLight Oh wow that kind of makes sense considering the locations in which we find them within spider cave are very narrow... still I never dawned on me that they had a very simple AI package until just now thanks for the explanation!

You can use existing music, and can even put down triggers for its variations.
