Apple Motion: Slot Machine with Images

I've done a few slot machine tutorials but they have focused on numbers and letters but here I wanted to do one specifically for images. It's simple to set up and you could easily turn it into a Template for FCP because of the way we will be building it.

Same method really. You just need to make a 3D 'tumbler' using image planes.

Have you realized that in Motion there is a problem with the loop marker. I called apple and they said its the problem of this version.

Hey Simon, I tried to do this with videos instead of images but I'm having a problem. The wheel is rotating just fine but the videos are cycling in each panel instead of staying in their own panel and playing, any thoughts as to what I have done wrong perhaps? Thank you!

You would need a different approach for making this work with video - this technique is only designed for stills. A bit too complicated to explain in a TH-cam comment so I might look at making a tutorial on how to do it.
