Man the lighting on those Sylvaneth models and how they were hiding among the trees looked just incredible! So thematic.

I love the concept of the flesh eater courts. Great lore. The only down side is I feel the models need a bit of a range refresh.

Hey guys, love your battle reports (best on YT IMO). Just wanted to say that I think it would be good to change that song you use at the end of all reports where you talk about hypothetical turns, the current song makes battle reports feel like they just ended on a tragedy 🤣 The end should feel like a triumph! 'X faction just won! Stunning victory, let's watch another battle report', instead of 'well, things are really sad, oh well, see you next week'. Like, keep the ending the same, discussing possible/alternate endings, but change the music to something epic that makes ppl excited for more BRs. Just a thought!

were you using the new flayers warscrolls? The old flayers were very deadly but they seemed mainly nerfed now. also surprised you weren't running morgaunt to bring back beastflayers and ghouls on 4+ although the extra 2" speed is nice
Morgaunt would be an interesting choice for ghouls and beastflayers, the subfaction did get nerfed not long ago though, you only bring back half the unit now on a 4+. But yeah bringing back whole blocks of ghouls and beastflayers was a real cool thing to do :)

Wait, the FEC didn't let the tree revs retroactively teleport out, even though that was the intent and plays were made around it, just because opponent forgot before moving to the next phase? Is that correct? If so that's pretty lame.

what's the synergy of Celestian Prime with Sylvaneth? It seems odd to take an ally that does what Sylvaneth already does best: deepstrike, even if he does it more reliably.
Sylvaneth plays slow typically, which work really well - and its a deepstrike which isn't tied to trees/terrain, so does give quiet a bonus. Also the extra mortal wound output can be insane in some matchups!

It's kinda sad that you can't be competitive with FEC without Flayers and at least one Terrorgeist with feast.
were only 6 flayer (vs 3x6 before) and no GkoTg in the list... buying 40 beastslayer thou... xD
Man why the heck would you take 2 Archregents just to spawn Beastflayer spam?
Because Beastflayers are really good, so getting them for 'free' alongside a 2-cast wizard is awesome value! Yesterday FAQ changed it though so they can only summon Ghouls now :')

The archregent has a once per battle command ability that let him summon 1 hero, 3 elites or up to 20 basic models. The new beastflayer unit are counted as basic even though they are alot stronger than the other basic ghouls. He had two archregents, which means he gets 2 free summons of these units.

FEC just seem like an issue tbh.
They're hovering around the 50% win rate ATM. Seem fine. Lots of bodies but mega squishy and lacking mortal wounds/rend.
Thanks for the nice report. And again a mistake in turn 2 cost the game. I think a Sylvaneth army with more than one hammer did not work. I think the build with 2x 10 spites are not good. I try to avoid having more than one cc per turn.
