All Olympic parks should be built with the requirement that all housing and facilities should be built with conversion in mind for local housing that is rent-controlled (50years) and commercial amenities. I see a version of this story told by many parks that now sit 50%-80% unused or since demolished. London "Tried" to set up a plan but more road maps should be set where this space today is designed to be a media intake gallery for correspondence but during the construction, all the electrical, telecommunications, and plumbing have been set up to split the area into 4 retail spaces for example. That way less than a year after the games new tenants can be moving in. Have HOA charters pre-drafted for the housing. Know which building will become the schools. Etc. AND MARKET THE CRAP OUT OF IT TO SHOW OF HOW GREAT YOUR CITY WILL BECOME.
I wish the Olympics was held in one place, even if you have to have separate stagnant places for the winter and summer, because the spending and corruption is too much
