      Ah thanks buddy we were really lucky to be able to not only see this place but also film it. What these guys do is amazing so it was an honor to be able to share their stories. Plus 99% of the barns out there that are loaded with cars are just rotting away this is totaly the opposite. Rick and the other guy bob are super talented and hard working. The perfect video to start a nice weekend, thank you. Growing up in France in the late 70's and early 80's, I was fascinated by those Poclain excavators with their ungainly wheel setup. Canada is definitely not the place where you'd expect to see one of those!

    • @SubdivisionAuto
      @SubdivisionAuto  3 วันที่ผ่านมา +2

      You are right they are rare machines and yes for sure an unlikely place to see one! What else would you like to see on this channel?

    • @65283impala
      @65283impala 3 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@SubdivisionAuto You're already doing a fantastic job at finding a great variety of interesting vehicles and stories. Maybe, occasionally, ask the owners of other interesting machines, such as the Poclain excavator here, to show and tell us a little bit more about it. Ideally, I guess it could also be nice if you had the possibility to go beyond the Ottawa region. But really, your channel already rocks as it is, keep doing what you get a feel for.

      @@65283impala Thank you for the feedback. Its funny you say that because next year I plan to do a season of unique vehicles rather than just muslce cars for the most part. On the top of that we do plan to travel beyond Ottawa it was always the plan. Honestly we hoping we could travel to the USA so in the winter we could film down south while its nice.. escape the winter! Of course right now thats really tough to do and we have two really young kids but hey down the line for sure! WE are going to SEMA to film the event in a few weeks so slowly tring new stuff. That was beyond incredible. I recently saw something that said Elon Musk was the 16th smartest person in the world. I wondered, who are the fifteen ahead of him? Dr. Rick Frankenstein-of-cars, surely must be one of them. Talk about a never-say-die spirit. WOW!

      @@SubdivisionAuto Clearly, that's a testament to your tenaciousnous and professionalism.
      I think I possibly get it now. Knowing you, It should have been obvious to me. Perhaps your videos are auditions and/or demos for much bigger things. That's why I admire and respect you so much.
      The best drivers seem to consistently look far ahead on the racecourse to anticipate their next moves.
      As far as I'm concerned, Max is ready for next level prime time.
      BTW, don't sell yourself short on your on-screen persona. You are the perfect fit for what you do. I sense an unusual level of genuineness with you being you. No pretending to be someone other than who you are. False enthusiasm is obvious to me and degrades the presentation. You do a masterful job of avoiding that perception.
      All the best to the whole gang.

      @CalebGibbsAvenue 2 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @johnnyduplantis the only thing about being humble right now is to build respect before being too confident. I'd agree that eventually, you want to hold yourself with dignity a sort of confidence in what you know. Not revealing too much of your own self-improvement. The enthusiasm has been constant, so I can't say it's off. I like the opinion given. I'v thought the same thing.
