I live off of Fortune Rd and Simpson near the ST Cloud side and let me tell you. "DON'T MOVE HERE!" It's a dump, traffic is aboslute hell now. 192 will be backed up for miles not moving, Simpson road will be a stand still as well as Fortune and Osceola parkway by the loop. If you don't speak Spanish good luck, it's about 80% hispanic here. My wife missed out on 2 jobs because she doesn't speak Spanish. All of the old locals are flooding out as the NY/NJ crowd moves in. They all say they are running to Tennessee and the Carolinas while they can as it's not what it was even 10 years ago. My wife's practice is near downtown Orlando on Orange ave and it takes her well over an hour some days. My son's school is 4 miles away and it was taking over an hour round trip to get there and run right back. My wife recently took a job in Kentucky and we will be leaving my February, they pay more and things cost half what they do here. Don't bother coming here, you will absolute hate it!! The Orlando people call it he sewers of Orlando.
Kissimmee FL , 1979. My girlfriend’s brother (Andy) meets me at a driving range that parallels a highway. He’s a weightlifter but wants be to teach him to swing . He hits a slice, goes over the netting , hits a worm’s car , she veers off into the median and the car rolls 2-1/2 times.
worst traffic i have EVER experienced was in kissimmee, in the evening, on 192. it makes the i-4 seem tame. it's so busy that the wal marts don't bother to stock the shelves on items that move quickly. they just pull the pallets onto the floor, because there are so many people in the stores. kissimmee definitely seems to be lower-mid income, based on stores, homes, etc. there are tons and tons of vacation properties, condos, etc. SO, i would imagine it will be more affordable, and i would imagine that there are going to be some hidden gems, if you are looking to either do a revamp or a tear-down and build
@@JohnnyBlaze6954 i have. it's definitely not great, especially in the morning (and, why is the morning worse in OC than evening?) I-4 supposedly holds the title for worst traffic in the country, but i don't get it. you can sit on 192 for an hour to move between two traffic lights.
Kissimmee has ridiculous traffic problems. It runs through the heart of the theme park district, and all of the employees of the parks + the tourists + the locals who are just trying to GET TO THE DAMN TACO BELL FOR SOME FREAKING BAJA BLAST OMG. So, if you can get past that, you'll be Ok. I still don't feel comfortable travelling down 192 at night, particularly closer to the heart of Kissimmee, but other than that you're golden.

I prefer Hallandale beach Florida beautiful city good beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities, and good nightlife.🙌🏻

Ever been to Los Angeles Orange County or San Diego, California? If so, how does it compare?

What do you think about winter springs
Any updates on Destin area?
I have lived in St. Cloud, sister city to Kissimmee for 43 years, Overall Kissimmee is a Ghetto, not an attractive place to live
I was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and I remember Kissimmee was a swampland and people called it cow town.
34% than the national average. What does that even mean😂
They are leaving the Kissimmee marketplace because it is a complete shit show and a very hot swamp!
I don't tell like its hotter than the rest of the area but the traffic sure does win some metals.
Anyarab?🤭🤭😅🤣
Yes there is an Arab community. Not as big as other cities in FL but still
