@noct31 Same tbh except my redeeming moment in this was Mine Blower. God I love that coaster. I also agree about it being rough for a "newer" ride BUT to me it isn't something to complain about. More like just another wonderfully insane thing about it 😍

I also love Blue Hawk and Raging Bull. Complete agreement here. Explained those in my Underrated Coasters video. As for Full Throttle, I thought the brakes on the drop were an afterthought; I got so much airtime on the drop, that I didnt really notice the brakes. I give you a lot of credit for doing a video like this, opinions are pretty tricky ground on the internet.

Overated: Manhattan Express, or Ultra Twister at Nagashima in Japan, underated: the late Viper at Six Flags Great Adventure.
I don't think Airtime Thrills has ridden any. I know he didn't ride the New York coaster to start the new year.

@Zach Infeld Everyone says a launch coaster but a modern GCI would fit so much better imo.
Michigan's Adventure is very underrated. They have a legendary CCI, Shivering Timbers, and one of the rare "good" SLCs, Thunderhawk. The waterpark is the main attraction, and its good. Wolverine Wildcat is pretty good, and it's very popular.

I haven't ridden many coasters, but I think another underrated B&M is Batman The Ride. Probably one of the most intense and whippiest inverts out there. People underrate it bc it's a clone and it's at Six Flags
Anything at six flags is underrated and anything at cedar fair's are overrated

Comet was one of my first coasters and even though I moved to Florida I still love it

Yes! Blue Hawk is a great ride. I’m still hoping they bring us a Raptor, though. Even though you said they were overrated, it’d be nice to get one at SF:OG, since we haven’t gotten a new coaster since Twisted got overhauled. It’s great to see a coaster I personally love at my homepark, get some love.

I love the 4D Free Spin coasters. One of the few coasters that still give me that oh s*** feeling.
You must never have been on a “Zipper”
They're perfectly fine coasters, and not only that, they have such a small footprint that a park could put it in the spot of a couple flat rides and be fine.
Are they going to be the standout attraction? Obviously not, but they're better than something like a boomerang.
Most underrated Mack:
Euromir, a bit rattly, but some intense moments.
And don't forget that it is - like many other coasters at Europa Park - a prototype, built at a time when Mack was still pretty rough. They have improved their manufacturing A LOT since then.

So glad to see the love for Hersheypark's Comet. It was my first "big coaster" (non-kiddie or family) & one moment I'll never forget is riding is on a chorus/band/orchestra trip my senior year of high school (which was my last hs field trip). I kept shooting it's praise to my friends and pretty much anyone would listen. The full day we were at the park, I made a beline to re-ride the ride that started it all. Got in the front with my brother and when I turned around, all but the last 3 rows were classmates. We got off the ride and EVERYONE said "You were right. That was so fun." A true classic that you're right, UNDER-RATED
1000% use to go back between 2001-2007 and Comet was always the main ride id marathon. Back then the coaster lineup wasnt as packed like today. My cousin swore by Lightning Racer and Wildcat, but id insist on going by Big Bear and wind up on Comet. By the last time we went she finally agreed with me, Comet is the best woodie there. Wildcat is/was rough amd Lightning Racer doesnt really do much. I really need to get back up there (live in Fl) and get the like 5 or 6 new credits they have there. I miss Hershey and the Comet😊
Most underrated Mack: manta. Most overrated Mack: copperhead strike

When I rode kumba I thought it was a great coaster but I thought the head banging was a little bit much, I think that montu is better because of the lack of head banging that montu usually has. Even with the head banging montu is still a pretty good ride and lives up to most the hype.
I've been on Kumba a half dozen times this year and every time I've come off with a headache. It's not as bad closer to the front, but even at its best it was still rougher than every coaster in the park. It's the only one I skip nowadays.
I've ridden Raging Bull more than any other coaster, and for a while it was the most exciting coaster I had ridden. Then I branched out and rode coasters at Cedar Point, Busch Gardens, etc., and I still think RB is one of the most exciting coasters out there. Thank you for shining some light on this awesome ride.
SFNE is my home park and every year we'd ride cyclone once or twice and talk about how it was an rough coaster that was ready for a replacement. We rode it on it's closing night. Riding it upon it's reopening, Wicked Cyclone easily makes my top 5 coasters. It went from a ride that even durring peak hours only had a ten or fifteen minute wait to consistently having a half hour wait and it's so worth it.

I completely agree with the Kumba pick. I got 7 rides on it and I didn’t think it was as intense as some people make it out to be.
You are so right about Sierra Sidewinder. It's actually the best coaster at Knott's Berry Farm. One of the great things about Sierra Sidewinder is that it's slightly different every time you ride. How much you spin depends on the weight distribution in your car. My last time on Sierra Sidewinder it was just spinning out of control.
As a Georgia resident, having Blue Hawk be the underrated one is very true… it’s pretty smooth ngl and I love the setting. SFOG is truly great scenically

I’d say Storm Chaser is the most underrated RMC. With it being in the once nearly entirely abandoned Six Flags Park, most people don’t give Kentucky Kingdom the light of day. Storm Chaser and Lightning Run are what has kept the park alive and saved it from shutting down, but with only 2 good coasters people still don’t seem to care for Kentucky Kingdom and think lowly of the park and it’s rides. Storm Chaser is not a ride to laugh at and I’d say the only RMC sibling that’s better is Steel Vengeance

Hollywood Rip Rocket also has a secret track list. Hold your finger on the ride logo on the touch screen, and it will bring up a keypad where you enter a 3 digit code. One of the secret songs is Painkiller by Judas Priest.
Best metal song of all time. But the lift hill on that ride gives me vertigo.

My ride on Mineblower is perhaps the most painful roller coaster ride I've ever gotten, but damn that layout is so good it kind of makes up for it. If it wasn't so rough, and had a different restraint system (sorry, those lap bars which rotate over you from the side suck if you're skinny like me, since they push you to the side of your seat), it would probably be my favorite wooden roller coaster. And yes, that's ahead of the RMC woodies Lightning Rod and Goliath.

I couldn't agree more about Sierra Sidewinder. A friend and I got off of it was were like "wtf was that?!?! We weren't expecting that at all!" So good!
One thing I will add about Phoenix, as someone who lives about 50 miles away from the park, Northeast Pennsylvania tends to overrate anything that's in any way associated with the area. We did it with Bob Sura and Ron Powlus in the 90's and we did it with Gerry McNamara and The Office in the 2000's.
It is a shit park but the most underrated B&M is Goliath at La Ronde. It literally never gets mentioned, positive or negative, and it is a ton of fun. It doesn't compare to the full size, elite B&M hypers, but it is definitely underrated to a ridiculous degree. It is a really fun ride.
It's a good ride, but in my experience I found the layout kinda boring, but it did have some good floater air
Jordan Carr Goliath would get much more love if it were at any other park. But we don’t have to blame Six Flags for how La Ronde is. (Insert Oscar nominates song from 1999 movie that Jeopardy contestants didn’t know)
I think there’s 2 things Wicked Cyclone has that people don’t really talk about, the rapid fire elements leaving barley any transitions in between. Also the fact that you can get some hangtime on the 3rd inversion if the coaster slows down by then

Totally agree with Rip Ride Rockit. It's rough and not the best ride in the world, but the good experiences I've had with it just make it great. Here's my story.
It was getting late and everyone was starting to leave the park and I decided to ride it one last time before leaving. The line closed shortly after me getting in it. When I got on the ride, the music wasn't working so I rode the ride without it. When I got off, I told an operator about it and they immediately put me back on. Front row, had the WHOLE train to myself so I was just vibing the whole ride through. Best coaster experience and Rip Ride Rockit and the incredibly kind workers at Universal have a very special place in my heart.
I really like how you give so much love to wicked at Lagoon but it would be awesome if you gave some credit to Dal Freeman who actually designed it he is the head engineer at Lagoon and used to work for Arrow. Also I really like your videos so thanks for making them!
Raging bull is my second favourite hyper after Mako so thank you for giving it the respect it needs.
I get why some people don't think Kumba is that great but sometimes you just get that unforgiving ride that makes it so good. It didn't blow me away the first few times but once I rode it in the front and got a good ride on it I loved it.
i think the most underrated ptc is rollo coaster, at least before 2018 when it still had the trains that didn't have any restraints

Great video! I respect your opinion as a coaster enthusiast so much! I am grateful that many of the coasters I have ridden popped up throughout the video. I enjoy Wicked Cyclone as much as you do and appreciate that first drop very much. Riddler's Revenge is a great ride considering that it is an SLC. I actually prefer it over batman the ride at great adventure. Lastly, thanks for the advice about Sierra Sidewinder because I am going to Knotts soon and I now know I should be sure to ride it.
I actually agreed with free spins being underrated. I waked on to joker at SFGAM expecting to not like it, but it was actually pretty fun

The most underrated PTC is Skyliner at Hersheypark. It has ejector on its drop, floater hills in the beginning, and an AMAZING ejector finale after the station fly-by.
In addition to being a fun coaster with a lot of air time, the Phoenix is well maintained so it doesn't kill your brain and back. I think that is one reason why it is rated so highly. When I lived near Knoebel's my friends and I would ride it over and over and loved it every time. I rode Ravine Flyer 2 for the first time last summer and the first ride was awesome. The second time was too rough and it gave me a headache. I think it's underrated since not many people talk about it but it needs to be smoother as mentioned.
You should do this for parks! Like, most over and underrated coasters in the Six Flags chain, most over and underrated coasters in the Cedar Fair chain, etc.

Thank you for not taking a dump on Hollywood rip ride and rock it! Been a pass holder at universal Orlando for almost 15 years. This thing has some fantastic air time which seems to get better with age. The roughness is so tolerable I think most people don’t like all the mid courses
I absolutely agree with you on the freespins. If they weren't cloned so much, I think people would definitely like them a lot more. I'm glad I have one only an hour away from me now at sfdk, and I make sure to ride it every time I'm there.
YYEEEESSSSSSS. showing that mine buster love. rode it for the 1st time jan 28,2020 and oh man i loved every minute of it. think my marathon rounded out at 20 rides. best part is back row. you get whipped over that drop, and oh man it is satisfying.
S&S Freespins often cause my head to slam backwards into the headrest. Not my favorite at all. It has be worried that I'm gonna hate X2 when I finally get out there. And I can't say I feel bad missing out in Green Lantern. Lol.
I agree about Sierra Sidewinder. I rode it for the first time back in 2014 not expecting much from a family coaster and I was very surprised. It was such a good ride and I ended up getting two rides that day

The Phoenix I remember was also dangerous with its air time. Haven’t ridden since 2009, maybe it’s running a little slower now? Hoping to get there for Coaster Con. I declared it my favorite coaster at one point.
So when you were talking about HRRR, I actually didn’t think it was boring or rough. I went last summer and I got over 20 rides during a one week period and you get some great ejector and the helix(1st one)is pretty aggressive. Yeah it had a rattle but it’s able to be overlooked. As for B&M the most underrated(IMO)is Alpengiest, mainly because people think it’s rough, but it’s INTENSE!! It is a bit rough, but you stick to the middle two seats in each row(except for rows 1&2)and it’s still pretty smooth. It looks a lot more intense than it appears. It’s a GREAT ride imo.

I would say that Goliath at SFGAm is the most underrated RMC because everyone says that the layout is too short and too forceless, but I find that the drop give a some good airtime, the inversions provide great hangtime, and the over banked turns are pretty whippy in the back row.
I live close by to magic mountain, and yeah it'd seem cool. Hell they can even call it "Green Lantern: Second Flight". Only problem is it'd be absolutely dwarfed by X2.
Hellacia maybe they should make X3.
If you get a chance at any point you need to try a Mack Hyper Coaster. North America is all about B&M Hypers and as far as I know there are no Mack Hypers to ride, but DC Rivals Hypercoaster at Movieworld in Australia runs so smoothly and the lateral Gs are pretty insane because it’s working with a small footprint (maybe more of a hyper twister than hyper). I’ll have to ride it again to check for whether the harness is really too tight (it might be because the trains are the same as their launch coasters) and I remember maybe a little discomfort.
Well that's a new way I've heard to pronounce B&M! Maybe one day someone will put the nail in the coffin on the right way to say it lmao
Green lantern is so underrated, it's litterally the same as the other free spinning coasters and I will always love and miss it, it was one of the best rides I ever had

Have you ever been to The Great Escape? It’s definitely a skippable park but the Comet there is one of the most underrated PTCs. It’s gotten a bit rough in the last few years (I live like an hour away so it’s my home six flags, but I go to New England or great adventure wayyyy more), but the bars don’t even touch my thighs and it’s full of airtime. The drop is also super fun and it’s a little jolty, but it gives that old woodie feel. It’s a very underrated and fun coaster. When it hauls on a really good day, it’s a very fun ride

you definitely need to try phoenix again! i always FLY out of my seat, especially in the back. also the weather looks kinda crappy the day you went. i bet you could have a much better ride if you try it again :)
Hopefully you can get back on Copperhead Strike soon. I rode it on a warm day in the summer with perfect weather and it was fantastic. It’s definitely my second favorite ride at Carowinds.
Good call on Wicked Cyclone! SFNE is my home park and everyone still sprints for Superman when the park opens, but Wicked Cyclone is miles ahead of that ride and easily the best in the park

I know most enthusiasts think Rip Ride Rocket is pretty poor, but the general populace enjoys it, as a result, I was expecting it to be placed in the overrated section not underrated.

I live in Georgia, and I have terrible luck with. Blue Hawk. It’s always either closed, or running so slow that it’s just rattling you around without delivering any thrills
Maybe it’s because SFGAm is my home park but I don’t get the hate people have for Raging Bull. I like the twister layout, the pre-drop helps and it’s got some good airtime.
I've only ever rode 2 vekomas and one RMC, the vekomas being T3 at Kentucky kingdom and invertago at kings island. The RMC being storm chaser at Kentucky kingdom which was my favorite in the whole park
I feel like new Texas giant is really underrated because it had no inversions.
I’d personally call SV the most overrated RMC. It was still awesome, but I thought lrod, the only other RMC I’ve ridden, was a much better ride (and yes, in it’s current state; I never rode it in 2016 when the launch was full power) anyways, I respect all the picks on this list! I understand why you thought Rip Ride Rockit was good. I’ve been to Cedar Point, have passes for Busch Gardens Tampa, and Have passes to Universal Orlando, and even after visiting Cedar Point and riding rides like Steel Vengeance and top Thrill Dragster, I still thought that Rip Ride Rockit delivered a nice experience. It’s most likely because of the music, as the music blaring into your ears while going 60 mph is a memorable experience. Overall Rip Ride Rockit doesn’t go very fast, or have very crazy Gs, but it is very memorable when you factor in the music, as the music makes it 10x more fun to ride.
You should book a trip to Story Land in barlette new hampshire, it has a great Gravity Group coaster called Roarosaurus, it is a great ride and sure it's in a small park, but it is definitely the star of the show and would be in a lot of parks

I know you were disappointed by it on your most recent rides but I put Apollo's Chariot as the most underrated B&M. It's a gorgeous looking coaster that benefits greatly from the terrain and the pre-drop. I know people disagree but I have it as the number 3 best B&M hyper in the US after Mako and Diamondback. It's also way smoother than Goliath at SFOG.
I need to ride it again on a warm summer day, not a cold spring day
Airtime Thrills I went to BGW in early May, and the scenery was beautiful. Shame I didn’t ride anything aside from transportation.

Underrated B&M: Mako SeaWorld.
Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket would be an great coaster if they change those awful restraints. By far the worst restraints. Also, when you go back you will see the age of HRRR. Knowing you bro, you will have a headache riding that backseat! Love the content bro! I love how you give my home parks in Florida Love! Can't wait to see your video on the upcoming best coaster in the world......Iron Gwazi!
I'm not gonna lie, Rip Ride Rocket is actually running really really good lately. Idk why but it's pretty smooth now and actually has some pretty good airtime.
