Thank you, thank you, thank you so very much. I really need to replace my crossfader on my Prime 4 due to bleeding. You saved me a trip to the repair shop. 🔧
Thanks Man, my Prime 4 fader is still good but I had been thinking about something a little better. I love the Crossfader Contour Adjustment knob on this thing! I also thought about a backup plan once this xfader goes out. I saw the channel faders everywhere for sale but not a xfader. Appreciate you! This is a big help.
I just bought a Denon sc live 4 , not even opened it yet and I hear about loads of people, complaining about crossfader bleed, after just weeks. I’m thinking about just returning it and not even bother open. I did get extended warranty but now I feel anxious to use the thing. I did have crossfader bleed with my first mixer , years ago but that was ok because it was extremely cheap and I simply moved on , used new mixer for 5 plus years and not 1 problem but this sc live 4 juat seems like it will break.
@@DJTide I was thinking that but Prime 4 plus is double the price Don’t have built in speakers and as much as most think wtf on a dj controller, most that have used them, say they actually sound pretty good for home mixing and as I can’t play loud music, it may just about be good enough for me and my situation. If I could play loud music, I’d have bought the prime 4 plus Screw it, I’m just going to set up my sc live 4 today and if I have any problems within the first year, I will simply get a refund. I bought 2 year extended warranty. Do you know if you can claim any back, if product has a fault within first year? I’ve never really bothered with warranty so don’t know. I just thought for £40 it was worth it for 2 year regular fault or accidental damage.
@Willson do you still own your sc live 4? If so, have you used it loads? And did you get any crossfader bleed, with main crossfader? Or the channel faders? If so, did Denon repair or replace? I just got 1 myself and crossfader bleed is a worry.
@@grahamkelly8662 already installed mini ino fader it works so good. No probs on channel fader. u shud took ur sclive to near dj store/repair they can do it

Hi man, I've got a question.... The adjustment knob for the cross-fader curve on the Prime 4 is compatible with the new one?
@@JK-ej9xq I'm not too sure as i sold my prime 4 awhile ago 😔
Do you have any idea if I can change the other 4 faders to slider faders
I'm sure there is a way but I haven't tried to figure it out yet, it looks like you have to take the whole top part off
@@DJTide thank you

Id say just return it and get a prime 4, at least that way you can replace the crossfader with an innofader.

Cool video. I forget how ugly the original prime 4 is until I see one again lol They really smoked the 4 plus.
How do you fix channel if it's broken ?
Thanks for this, do the knobs on the prime 4 work for the native curve adjustments for the innofader?
Not that I'm aware of
do you think it can install on denon sc live 4?
I don't believe so sadly, theres no faceplate for the cross fader
