I can confidently say that throughout the game, I was able to do 99% of the puzzles without help. The bosses were a different story. Thanks for all the tutorials, I don’t think I would have been able to finish the game without them.
Yeah, the bosses aren’t exactly hard, but the aim is so difficult. And they don’t explain what to do so it confusing. I will say I had some trouble with the pyramid puzzles and how to kill the mummies.
This would have been a great fight except for three main issues. 1 - Aiming the bombs at his mouth is jank 2 - Sometimes you'll pick up a bomb and before you even get a chance to aim he's already on to his next attack, so you're back to dodging anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 mins. 3 - The 4 min timer on phase 3 is bad design considering I had a run where he didn't toss any ( besides his intial attack ) for 3 mins. Overall I like the idea of the battle but the execution was poor.

Omg im on my last gold bone out of the 10 I started with! Aiming sucks so bad!! I'm going to be mad if I don't get it this time. It's hard to even get the bomb without blowing up then trying to aim. My kids wouldn't even want to play after the first round of trying. I'm so frustrated 🙄🤦🏽♀️
Really wanted to like this game all the way through. Literally had a blast throughout the whole game up until this point. Absolute deal breaker, drops the game from a 9/10 to an 8 for me just because in this fight it doesn't feel like you're in control at all. Terrible aiming mechanics had plagued the series since the first game, so sad to see that they overlooked the aiming controls again.
same givin it a 7 tops and i luigi mansion 1 is 1 of my fav games. some of the bosses just ruined this game, and the fact it makes u have to watch the shitty cutscenes for some everytime you die makes it even more annoying. and even worse is that some cutscenes are skippable, but 1 boss i kept dying and couldnt skip the long shit ass intro. definitely wont be playing this game a 2nd time just because of that
The bomb aiming ruins it. Plus two other bosses had bomb aiming. I think two other bosses. The pianist for sure. But the giant suction outlet stuff should've been the entire boss.
I used like 4 or 5 bones in this fight, partially because of the fucking tongue thing, partially because the battle dragged on since I couldn’t fucking hit him and that led to me dying to the timer running out like three times
Your tutorials have really been a lifesaver for me during my playthrough. It's almost bittersweet that I'm watching how to do the final boss, I'm gonna miss looking up tutorials while completely frustrated at the games lack of direction
Finally beat this shiiii! Most important tip I can offer: if ur low on health, don’t attack yet. Collect as many hearts as possible, and when ur in good health then do what you gotta do. Patience is definitely key, I missed out on a lot of turns throwing bombs just so I can get my health back up. And for the last part, like he said be prepared and stand in front of King Boo with the most teeth (the real one) and use the vacuum to pick up any bombs and aim. Be quick with this because you do NOT wanna face 3 ghosts it’s really annoying lol
This boss pisses me off so much. Like if you miss the bomb in the second one where the 2 splits, it did the ENTIRE SEQUENCE FROM LIGHTNING TO SLAM TO FIREBALL 3 TIMES BEFORE DOING THE BOMBS AGAIN!!! Then, the one time I DID get to the multiple bombs, I had way too low HP and DIED RIGHT AT THE FREAKING END AS THE BOMB WENT INTO HIM. LIKE ACTUALLY WANNA DIE RIGHT NOW. so, be patient and be careful and manage health. gotta do it tomorrow or like Wednesday because I have no patience to do it all over again. Thanks for the tips btw, u helped me * almost * win, and technically win because I had no idea what to do. Just mad about the 12 defense turns I had to do
Honestly even if you know which Boo is real this boss is total bullshit. It isn't hard, but adding a timer is so utterly stupid. You have to be lucky enough for the AI to use the bomb attack, then be lucky enough for the AI to decide to laugh after the bomb attack, then you have to be lucky enough for the controls to work enough to get the bomb in. If you DON'T know the Boo trick, you then have a 1/3 chance of winning. It's like flipping 4 coins to get heads every time and then you have a chance to roll a die to roll a 5. That's how you win? And you're TIMED on top of it? I didn't go below 70 HP but just lost to missing the bombs, not noticing the teeth, and only getting two chances with the bomb. Horrible design.
FINALLY BEAT THE GAME. 13 LONG HOURS! 😂 This boss and the piano guy are low key the most challenging due to the aiming mechanics. Solid game though. Definitely gonna play it through again and try to find all the boos and gems. 💯

I think Nintendo deliberately made this game confusing because they wanted to test people's intelligence, and they know that you can always look it up on TH-cam these days if you're stuck
I wish that in this fight they constantly shot out bombs from the sides like the fight on the pirate ship, so it didn’t take so long to wait for the bombs to show up, and then maybe they could of done a king kaliente style thing where you have to bounce the bomb back in forth with king boo a couple times.

I don’t think it is. The big N makes most of its money from 18 and over gamers and that’s what I see in my demographics too. That’s why the challenge level is so high. Have you played the Switch version of Mario Sunshine? That’s got some crazy difficult episodes
This tutorial is great to watch. If helps you know what you need to do, but it’s like buying the late night infomercial stuff. When you bring it home it doesn’t quite work out as easily.
Also the fact that at the last part the bombs go off In like 4 seconds after being dropped which gives you absolutely NO time to line up the shot because the aiming controls are garbage

Phase 3 expection: Dodge all bombs immediately and wait till next batch of bombs. Me at phase 3: YOU SHOOT BOMB AT ME, I SHOOT EM BACK AT YA FACE! (Translation: I accidentally succed a bomb and hit boo at the mouth really quick allowing me to end the fight.)

If only because what you’re supposed to do isn’t intuitively conveyed and also boos will glitch and get stuck inside each other during the timer section if you miss the right boo.
Regarding the third phase, the real boo isn’t necessarily in the middle. It’s the one whose eyes are shining and has four teeth. The other ones have black eyes and only have two teeth. Aiming the bomb is difficult, but if you just gently flick the stick up it should make it a lot easier to aim. Hope this helps.
Pain in the arse. So much of this game is a massive pain. They almost nailed it as it's really well made with a lot of content, but tedious as hell sometimes for no reason,
in my understanding they should've never timed you in figuring out how long will it take for you to beat king boo considering you have to figure out who's the real boo in the last round and with no hints and all they do is drain the clock down by doin its roll call set of move that are set to randomize it's set of attacks when all you want is the bomb throw be put in play at the last minute which is dumb.

Could not have beat king boo without your tips on the third time , keep your composure, don’t panic, and don’t run around whenall the bombs are all released, suck the first one up and throw it !! I tried this for five days and after watching this tip and I beat it on the second time
Wow I'm trying that method to finish this game tonight - I'd never thought of firing when all the bombs drop like that. I was always trying to catch individual ones later in the fight and found them bouncing off etc. Nightmare.

After about floor 9 this game just became very tedious, had to google how to defeat things like 10 times. I wonder what happens when that timer runs out, im guessing you just die. I did die once during this fight and when the dog brought me back it restarted the timer. Glad im finally done. The previous 2 were so much better,
I did it! I died completely once and had to start over but what helped me most was knowing which ghost was real , if you look closely the one that’s eyes are most visible is the real ghost. Aim the bombs at that one! 😃
Me and my dad havent reached this floor yet, we are on floor 13 but we have floor 14 but the powerkitty stole the button, but im sure this will help me and my dad out when we reach this floor. Ty for your helpful videos♡
This level got me fucked up man I kept dying and I feel like I reached to this point where the game got tired of me losing and I won. That time i didnt even freaking try i was just mad and I won. I'm still mad it wasn't a fair level.

I did it! I died completely once and had to start over but what helped me most was knowing which ghost was real , if you look closely the one that’s eyes are most visible is the real ghost. Aim the bombs at that one! 😃
This boss is hard
Me and my dad havent reached this floor yet, we are on floor 13 but we have floor 14 but the powerkitty stole the button, but im sure this will help me and my dad out when we reach this floor. Ty for your helpful videos♡

This level got me fucked up man I kept dying and I feel like I reached to this point where the game got tired of me losing and I won. That time i didnt even freaking try i was just mad and I won. I'm still mad it wasn't a fair level.

This is the only shit I had to look up man. And honestly I thought the bombs just were the wrong move because of how I wasn’t hitting him. How disappointing the last boss fight is so annoying. Thanks for the video though. Video is great, this part of the game? Not so much.
