You tend to know what you're getting when you buy a used Volvo saloon. Something solid, sensible and safe is the usual prescription. Staid too, if older models are anything to go by, but the S60 changed that script. The first generation car was surreptitiously sassy and the second generation car we look at here got even more adventurous. Does a Volvo saloon outside the usual comfort zone work as a used buy? I am using S80 T6 AWD which is shares the same P3 platform with S60 explained in this video.
My car’s clock shows 350,000 km.
I am loving in this car. It’s so smooth, technologically extremely enough as it has tft multimedia system, adaptive cruise control, heated and cooled seats and so on. Very reliable engine and gearbox. Of course it’s 3.0 liters turbo engine and gas consumption can’t be compared to miden hybrid cards but I think consumption is very good looking performance. It’s 300 hp :)) yes.

I own a V60 R Design D3, since 2018 with 220.000 kms. Great car to drive, very confortable and safe. It olds very well, with nice materials and no major issues over all. For the next 2-5 years i will keep it, because newer cars are too technology and less reliable.
That's funny that most people like the diesels.....Here in America we hate the diesels.....they have less power, they are noisy and they stink......They do get better gas mileage....but I do t think they sell many diesels here...😆😆

Yeah diesel is a strange one. They can be tuned to turn out low co2 but always pump out more nitrates which lead to air pollution. In the uk there is a 'Road Tax' that is due annually on all vehicles. There is a sliding scale but some rates are horrific and some are free.
Anything pre 2001 is £140 for under 1500cc and £265 for over 1500cc.
However between 2001 and 2017 vehicles are taxed based on co2 levels
Diesel engines have typically more torqueir.They are preferred for better low end perfomance.Just drop the cluth and this thing moves fast
