CordlessVII Where do you have the Sanctuary mod kit at in your load order ? I watched your video on your load order and have been using that ever since and I haven't had any problems since. Thank you for all the great Videos and help.
I normally don't comment on peoples vids but this build absolutely blew my mind. Very creative and talented, keep up the good work, you've earned a subscriber!
This is a very impressive building. Keeps the esthetics of the Sanctuary Hills community and yet has all the hallmarks of a majestic head quarter of the Minutemen like you would expect to find it in Boston during the era when the country was founded. It also has a touch of Southern ranches esthetics about it, but there are buildings in Boston that actually have some of the same architectural elements such as the columns at the front of the building. Thanks for leaving links to the mods you used, when I get around to actually begin using mods these will be on my list. ............................................................................................................... PS. What is that machine at 8:23? PPS. "... brought to you [with] a cup of coffee, because honestly I would not be here without it." -- Lol. I always make sure to have a cup of coffee beside me while I watch videos - and I definitely would have coffee if I was creating videos.
Are you dumb? 😆 Just downloading Sanctuare Estate BoS/Minutemen/Institute or Clean and you have the best Sanctuary Village, safest and biggest you ever saw
Great job! Awesome details. This is something to keep in mind as I build out my various Minuteman settlement. I always generally start with a sort of generic barracks situation with power, a beacon, a water condenser, and some food plots and then come back later to do more redesigning. Preston Garvey keeps me busy! Again, thanks for posting. Truly some great work.
This is a perfect example of why decoration makes a huge difference. The building layout and interior would have been so boring without it. You're a master exterior and interior decorator when it comes to these builds Cordless! Keep up the always great work!
This looks absolutely amazing. As you said, it has this colonial/old townhall vibe, but still feels like a part of Sanctuary. If you're a hardcore roleplayer, you can also easily justify the building by saying the minutemen built it from the scraps of the destroyed Sanctuary houses. I might steal this one for my own Sanctuary settlement :)
Mods are fan made content. While they can technically be considered DLC, that term usually only applies to content the game developer makes to expand on their game. Mods are free. Steam briefly experimented with paid mods, but that failed.
Rickenbacker954 I'm 52, but like you pretty new to modding my game. Check out the videos by Gopher on You Tube. He has many helpful tutorials and a pleasant demeanor.
I love this build. I did almost the exact same build myself using your video as a guide. My interior decorations are different. I don't usually copy people's builds but I couldn't resist this one
This seriously looks awesome. Lore-wise, do you think the house was there before the war, or they took parts of the other houses and made it? Also, I saw the Sanctuary Houses mod on the Xbox mods menu, and when I saw it had your name, I was like "WHAAAT". You're everywhere!
omg never knew this mod kit set existed. Now my empty sanctuary(because clever me thought deleting all the houses would be good ) can be built up again.
You are a man I can respect. You also think Sony is a little bitch about external assets and you speak about it freely. I salute you. Oh and awesome job on the house really well decorated and built. I'm totally getting this mod.
Well, you should be happy to know that you are one of the reasons why I switched over from my PS4 to an Xbox 1. You just had to keep rubbing in your amazing builds with external assets. xD Can't wait to see what else you are going to do to your Sanctuary! ^-^
has anyone on youtube ever made a mega settlement between sanctuary and redrocket, making them into one, if not i would like to see it here!!!!!! im pre sure theres a few mods which could help acomplish this.
There is the Conquest mod that allows you to build settlements everywhere. But building a city that large would just crash your rig no matter how strong. It's not just the spec, it's also how the game handles objects. Maybe in Fallout 5 or 6 we would be able to do so...
Lol, the sanctuary wall pieces from USO are literally just wood walls retextured. Only a doorframe and normal wall, no window pieces, they also don’t snap
looks great! done a few build videos myself and have been checking out other peoples creations, this I have to say is one of my favorite so far! - General Ostikio 🎮
Might want to hang the doors to the general's office and Preston's the other way around. Still, pretty awesome building. Might have to mine it for ideas.
All your builds give me a New Vegas feel. The people on the West Coast lived in actual buildings, pre or post war, while the Easterners still live in shacks.
There is no particular reason why I am commenting under specifically this video, because I have already watched almost all the content about Fallout 4 here, but here's what I would like to say: Dude, you make absolutely top quality content! Insane game design (as many commented under all videos - "Bethesda should hire him"), great immersion in the atmosphere, attention to detail, and charisma to keep attention. So I have only one request: please, continue to make content. Obviously, it will pay off if you just focus on quantity and regularity. And to make it easier to generate content, you can even divide it into 2 groups: 1 - more entertaining, where with a lot of mods you create something incredibly beautiful, well-thought-out, but something that others are unable to create or repeat, at least only if they are at the same level with you. 2 - this is for those who, most likely like many, are only owners of the vanilla Fallout 4, possibly with a few DLCs. You making such videos, may find it boring. Well, after such a wide choice of mods and community work, it's unpleasant to narrow down the possibilities so much. But you can make short "sketches". Like "how to decorate a room in vanilla fallout 4?" or "how to build a lighthouse?", or "How to make a storage of %something?". Here there is a chance that "simple guys" will be able to repeat, and it's easier to make content, as you don't need to move away for half a year, you can do it faster, and each new video is a new challenge. Interesting! Thank you again for the content!
Am I the only one who prefers sending Preston to stay at The Castle? It just seems more fitting for the guy who took charge of the Minutemen before you came along to be at the castle, especially if you consider him second in command.
7:07 Can anyone direct me to this painting in the workshop menu? I have a heavy modlist thanks to StoryWealth collection from Nexus, but I can't seem to find that particular painting and I love it for the government building. Much appreciated 🙏
Wow, Cordless VII,...This is totally awesome build. Love it!... I would have put the generals' office upstairs and Preston downstairs. The general is the boss. Must be on top.:)
dam dude, you are freakin good at building. I'm using some of your ideas in my builds. Copying is the best for of flattery, and I only copy the best. ;)
I liked it. Still, Preston gets a ceiling fan but the General doesn't? I would have had the General's office upstairs with Preston's or even just created a third floor for the General's office. He's the General, he deserves a big office!
that was a impressive build, looks like a Minutemen Headquarters, like the Whitehouse... but in fallout D: you should add some red carpets in the floor, that should give it a more presidential look. It was a great build :)
I really like all the builds you do and you don’t make it boring bro, can you do a video to show all of the mods you use tho I know you say them in your videos but can you please
Nice quick build. But all the general offices I was ever in while in the military were on the second floor or higher. They were also quite opulent. Even in places like Iraq, they had really nice offices.
Anyone that has been in the military knows the common knowledge, If it moves salute it, if not paint it. That is the whole problem I have here this building needs to be painted.
Cordless, this looks awesome! I am back playing Fallout, just finished my Sanctuary. Been watching all your videos as usual, noticed you haven't used Sim Settlements. Have you looked at that one yet? I laughed when I seen the Preston picture, I have that one in my house as well. keep up the awesome work!
Thanks! And it's great to hear from you. I've seen the Sim Settlements mod and it looks awesome, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use it since I prefer to build everything myself lol. A bit of a control freak about my settlements
The sanctuary post war kit should have been part of vanilla fallout 4 not separate mod but... Bethesda either didn't do or cut a lot of cool things. would use that to fix houses in sanctuary. For some stupid reason you can't do nothing to them without mods,if you can you have to use glitches to your advantage. I hope they fix that and a lot more in next gen upgrade.
Hey man, This looks Awesome. I will have to get the workshop items extended for PS4 which i do all my builds on. When are you doing the settlement build reviews again?
Love your mod. Xbox One player myself. I tried recreating the roof and it turned out like crap. wasn't able to populate the interior wall shelves. it would only snap to the middle outer edge of the shelf. //thank you for taking the time and making this mod. It Does get horrible to put all the interior decorations in...
hey, huge fan of these videos. what is the minutemen banners and signs stuff from? I can't figure out for the life of me which mod they're a part of...
That looks awesome. Man...makes me ponder about how much I care about achievements. I just started a playthrough with no mods in order to whore up the remaining chieves. But seeing this...shiiiet. I might have to not do that.
Thank you all for the great feedback! It means a lot.
CordlessVII do you know off a good debris mod for Xbox???????
CordlessVII
Where do you have the Sanctuary mod kit at in your load order ? I watched your video on your load order and have been using that ever since and I haven't had any problems since.
Thank you for all the great Videos and help.
So you owe your conception, too a a cop of Coffee.
Where did you get that intro picture of a cup of coffee? That would be perfect in my vault 88 coffee shop.
CordlessVII,
You're welcome, buddy, you deserve every bit of positive feedback that you get.
I normally don't comment on peoples vids but this build absolutely blew my mind. Very creative and talented, keep up the good work, you've earned a subscriber!
a subscriber and a cookie
Caldara1 but what kind of cookie 🤔
A dounut cookie
6:10 So you want to go? I made the minutemen! I made you! If it weren't for me, you'd be dead on the street!
Good design and decorations, it has a very old feel which suits the Minutemen! I like it very much!
Get the "Scrap that Settlement!" Mod for debris, it can clear up grass and debris from settlements.
i think it would look a little better if the stairs had railings, but i'm 5 years too late
Heres a quote "FOR THE COMMONWEALTH "thank you for this lovly video

I love this! I feel like their headquarters would look just like this. You did an awesome job at taking on their perspective.
Are you dumb? 😆

@@VeronikaSchmoll-id7rt bro just downloading prebuilt settlements isnt fun, the whole point is in buiding it yourself
@@VeronikaSchmoll-id7rt and its ugly
What a beautiful settlement this is turning out to be...keep it up bud!
Great job! Awesome details. This is something to keep in mind as I build out my various Minuteman settlement. Incredibly detailed and thematic with the decor! Even trying to mimic it from your visual I still can’t come close. Truly a work of art

A small goodneighbor style balcony would have worked in the front
Do you have to pay for the mod dlc? Sorry, I'm prolly the oldest Fallout 4 player at 63 but I love it 👍🏼
Rickenbacker954 You've got beat but not by too much. 51

Beautiful!! This looks like a lived-in, functional building.
8:06 he acknowledges that because after a while he says "You already know what I'm gonna tell you, another settlement needs our help"
Im currently sick and this is the only thing I find interesting, keep it up!
I love this build. I did almost the exact same build myself using your video as a guide. My interior decorations are different. I don't usually copy people's builds but I couldn't resist this one

Thanks! I forgot to mention this in the video, but I think they took parts from other houses since I've scrapped a few.
Commonwealth Charlie all I could think of reading this was Patrick from spongebob going "Let's take these houses and push them somewhere else!"
Game Casters Hahaha, that's probably exactly what it was like.
I don't see any reason why they couldn't have just build the walls to look like sanctuary house walls and painted them to match.
Well done! The layout is beautiful and i love the decor, especially the Preston sign. Hilarious!
Currently bringing your videos....and now I must rebuild EVERYTHING!
I built my minutemen to an empire
Such a big fan of your videos! You give me so much inspiration for my own builds :)
omg never knew this mod kit set existed. Now my empty sanctuary(because clever me thought deleting all the houses would be good ) can be built up again.
dope build....decorations look great
Awesome job. I love the shopping basket with tolet paper in it. lol
15k subs I remember when you first video went up. you've come a long way man great job
first video I ever saw and it's amazing how you build
I have fallout 4 myself and I also use building mods, but my buildings are amazing as yours
I was drinking coke at 8:07. Thanks a lot man, now i have to clean this shit up
Oh My Fucking Gosh! literally the best build I've yet seen.. holy shit dude!! keep up the amazing work
8:00 what mod is that with the Preston map marking poster?
JonaZ Guffyds posters and signs
I love cats Thanks
hey that's a good settlement for the minutemen, hey speaking of settlements another one needs your help here I'll mark it on your map

Oh and awesome job on the house really well decorated and built. I'm totally getting this mod.
I got a PS4 and fuckin hate sony for not allowing external assets
He also called Preston Garvey a Fucko which just so happened to make my day 😂
Love your builds man

- General Ostikio 🎮
The roof that sticks out on the roof is called a dormer
Omg this is gorgeous man
Might want to hang the doors to the general's office and Preston's the other way around. Still, pretty awesome building. Might have to mine it for ideas.
I'm almost ashamed to admit that I never actually thought of making a formal Minutemen HQ in Sanctuary. I'm gonna need to fix that, sooner than later.
We all just coming back to fallout 4 content in 2024 or just me?
All your builds give me a New Vegas feel. The people on the West Coast lived in actual buildings, pre or post war, while the Easterners still live in shacks.
Cordless i would love to play one of your games and just walk around you sir are an amazing architect
Couldn't stop laughing at the part where you show that sign of preston garvey beware of this man XD
Preston and Anti-freeze. Let's just hope he's feeling chipper lately.

the "things" on the roof in the corners are called dormas
Favorite TH-camr Right Here
You know when Preston's sleeping you can use the sandman perk to kill him. You can do this with Marcy, Jun, and anybody else as well
christopher dean .__.
christopher dean No you can't
You should switch offices, the general goes on the top floor
you should build an area for traveling traders like Doc Weathers or Trashcan Carla. Maybe there are some mods for that.
Wow, Cordless VII,...This is totally awesome build. Love it!... I would have put the generals' office upstairs and Preston downstairs. The general is the boss. Must be on top.:)

man I wish I can build like you your like a boss at it my builds are crap and yours are so awesome :C but I still love your building vids :D
that was a impressive build, looks like a Minutemen Headquarters, like the Whitehouse... but in fallout D: you should add some red carpets in the floor, that should give it a more presidential look. It was a great build :)
Thanks! I appreciate the input. I might go back and add in some carpet
Would be cool if you had an armory and barracks for the minutemen in Sanctuary.
Come to think of it... Why are there no two floor houses in sanctuary, I think atleast one or two would make a nice addition to the neighborhood
Sounds like the Minutemen are still banging on the walls of the workbench house. You should show people how to get rid of those animation spots.
I really like all the builds you do and you don’t make it boring bro, can you do a video to show all of the mods you use tho I know you say them in your videos but can you please
I will be 77 years old in August - will I be the oldest player of FO4? ;)
Maybe
Thats how it should be! Hey preston, a settlement is under attack, here i'll mark it on YOUR map~!
Nice quick build. But all the general offices I was ever in while in the military were on the second floor or higher. They were also quite opulent. Even in places like Iraq, they had really nice offices.
Going to build this in Fo76 to the best of my ability’s for the free states !!

Haha, I had a Coffee ad before the video

What an amazing build! Cordless, what mod did you use for the carpets in the build in each room?
The sanctuary post war kit should have been part of vanilla fallout 4 not separate mod but... Bethesda either didn't do or cut a lot of cool things. would use that to fix houses in sanctuary. Hey Cordless, great build once again! where do you got the cute fences from on the second floor?
What is Preston's rank. You should build a treehouse like the one in nuka world on that big ass tree.
mr.brickington same my xbox will turn on but it turns itself off
