I JUST RECENTLY PURCHASED THE LEWITT 440 PURE....AWESOME!!! THE 240 SOUNDED NICE THOUGH BUT THE C414 IS A BEAST...I HAVE THE C314 AND THE C3000,THE AUSTRIAN REGION ARE KICKIN TAIL. GREAT VIDEO MY MAN...STAY CREATIVE..PEACE!!
Interesting to hear other opinions, cuz I liked the AKG WAY better for acoustic. Just sounded so much cleaner. I thought Mic A almost sounded muffled. I liked Mic A better for electric though
Thanks for watching! I haven't used the AT2020 so I can't say for sure, but I've heard good things. I think this video shows the LCT 240 holds it's own against a much more expensive mic. I think at this point I would pick it over the AT2020 until I hear them side by side.
the B : c414 sounds more defined resolving and balanced,. but for the price the lewitt is i think a great choice,. would be interesting to hear the lewitt with an akg 214 which is just the double price or an rode nt1 which is nearly same price,.
Thanks for Watching (listening) I agree with you completely. If I had those mics I'd love to do a shoot out with them as well, or the Lewitt LCT 440. Christmas is coming if you want to get me something.... ha ha

Mic B is the AKG but the only off thing about this comparison is that maybe you should have compared the Lewitt 440 pure at least to the C414. This comparison is not very proportional, in addition considering that the 240 pro isn’t a Large diaphragm mic either but a small one.
@@redtonestudio2982 yes I heard it on my headphones still very very slight difference almost unnoticeable for the vocals but for the guitars there is a bit difference but then to not much I will go for lewitt and save tone of money
There’s a pretty big difference when you have a more trained ear for this kind of thing it is close though. Another big thing would be the mics ability to stay unaltered at higher sound level as well.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Interesting analysis, I use the AKG for just about everything now, but I should do some more tests on Electric and compare it to a SM57 or in combination!
@@redtonestudio2982 I think dynamic mics are usually best for amplifiers anyways since you would typically have a louder signal. At least that’s what I’ve been told anyways.
@@sethother8012 Yep, that is what I usually use as well. I've seen guys use a condenser a few feet back and a dynamic up on the grill then mix them together afterwards. Haven't tried that much though...
@@redtonestudio2982 Cool. I;'m trying to determine the optimal number of mics to use as I have seen several setups online like the one you mention, all with anywhere from 2 to 5 strategically placed mics

Just ordered the AKG C414 XLII for my collection. My wife is really going to be surprised 😮
She'll be surprised at how good it sounds and surprised you didn't buy it sooner!

Right on! Thanks for watching!
wow.. i like the mic A
It's better on acoustic guitar I agree!
I do think the Lewitt holds it's own even when price isn't a factor! Thanks for watching
Interesting to hear other opinions, cuz I liked the AKG WAY better for acoustic. Just sounded so much cleaner. I thought Mic A almost sounded muffled. I liked Mic A better for electric though
It was difficult to tell on the vocals, but on the guitars Mic B had more definition on the low end, so I think that was the AKG.
You are correct! Thanks for watching.
Excellent playing and commentary.
You should be building and selling your own built amps...rock on, bro!!!
Thanks for watching! Maybe someday....
I like mic b! It's got a warmer sound especially for voice.
Good choice! I agree, that makes the extra investment worth it...

WHICH ONE YOUR PREFER

Question is: a little cents in the frequency response worth 850 dollars? Not for me!!
That is the question! Thanks for watching!
Bro iam confused between lewit lct240pro and akg p420 for solo singing I want crisp and clear studio type vocal iam a singer what will u suggest?
I haven't used the AKG P420 so I can't be fore sure, I'd say you can't go wrong with a Lewitt mic!
I had it backwards!
Thanks for watching, the Lewitt really holds it's own in my opinion!
Love this format where you do blind tests.
Thanks for watching, I too like to make my own decisions first before I know which is which.
Here is the answer to the burning question....
Mic A: Lewitt LCT 240 Pro
Mic B: AKG C414 XLII
Whoa, wtf? A sounded much nicer
the B : c414 sounds more defined resolving and balanced,. but for the price the lewitt is i think a great choice,. would be interesting to hear the lewitt with an akg 214 which is just the double price or an rode nt1 which is nearly same price,.

Both sound about the same!!! And a big difference in the price
Exactly! There is a difference and I do find the C414 fits just a bit better in the mix, but I'm still not sold on the price.
B sounded much better to me -although the Lewitt is great, given the price.
Yep! I don't think you can go wrong with the Lewitt if you are on a budget!

I'd love to compare a 440 to the C414, if you have one send it my way! ha ha. Thanks for watching!
I can't find any difference 😳 both sounds good to me .. but the price of akg is insane
Make sure you listen on Headphones. But, I agree there is very little difference to justify the extra $900 or so...

I got to disagree. The sound of singing was just so much better with the AKG. Acoustic too
the microphone B is akg and the micro A is lewitt
You are correct! Thanks for watching!
AKG
B mic...just better for me.
Thanks for watching, I have to agree with you!
Voiceovers: Negligible difference, Vocals: AKG clear winner, acoustic: AKG clear winner, Electric: Lewitt slightly better.

I guess it would just depend how fat ya want your sound.
???
What is this answer?
Check my other comment. But Mic A is the Lewitt. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for your comment.
This movie is very nice!
Thank you!
The Mic B is definitely better
Thanks for the vote! I agree!
This " voice" would kill any mic,so then any listener ears!😱

@@redtonestudio2982 Exactly!🤣
Onestly AKG sounds better
I agree, but is it $800 better?
But dude the Akg is more expensive mic!
That's right, nearly 6 times more expensive! Is it worth it???
