Bad thing about buying box's. When I would get shorted at a store they would give me another pack. I've got a few card and comic stores still selling older Marvel Cards.
I have this complete set with the 4 holograms too. When I had this back in the 90s I actually got 10 complete sets of the holograms and swapped them for a sighed Ash Farenhiet comic and a signed Xman comic. That' was out of 20 boxes.
Although you have to understand that back in the 90s they were a lot cheaper. Even though my set is complete I wish I'd kept them all sealed to sell today lol.

Do you ever finish the chase sets on eBay? I have recently started collecting the 90’s Marvel tradings cards I had as a kid, but as an adult love being able to 100% the sets!
Yes, I want to complete the chase cards at some point, but at the moment I'm still mostly buying boxes. For this set I've already bought two more boxes which I will break later this year. I'm hoping this will be enough to complete it.

Some duplicates of Galactus I've gifted to a friend who likes him and some movie related characters I've gifted to the son of a coworker who is a fan of the movies. My friends/family are not even remotely interested in comics or trading cards and would have no use for them. That is also the reason why I started this channel, just to share my hobby.
I think the price is okay, considering that older boxes have become expensive lately. The only problem with unsealed boxes could be that they have been searched through for holograms, so may not pull any of them.
I still have my set. I loved how they all combined to one complete image on each page!

I couldn't afford boxes in the 90's, I just bought packs. So far I've had great luck with completing base sets from 1 box of 90's cards!

may I ask, when it says 1 of 4 on the holograms, is it just 1 in 4 sets or are there only 4 in the world of these cards?
The majority of the set is illustrated by Mark bagley as you stated. However one 9 card illustration is done by Terry dodson.
Also There should be 2 holograms, and 9 suspended animation cards per box aside from a little over a complete base set as well

All packs are in the box only thing wrong with it is that it didn't have the wrapper anymore
