My favorite set of all time.. brings back some really good times when I was young. I had almost a complete set when I was younger. I moved out on my own ,and a couple years later went to get them and my step mother had gave them away. A few years ago I went on a spending spree and bought 5-7 boxes. They were much cheaper a few years back. All I need for a complete set are 6 of the ultra prints. Thanks for sharing the opening .
Man, those Suspended Animation cards were some of my favorite inserts from back in the day.
God I was obsessed with this series as a kid, like the coolest art style

@@bbmicoo Yeah, Upper Deck still puts out new Marvel cards, but they are very expensive and hard to complete compared to the old ones.
RandomCollector23 even before its really hard to get a special limited edition card and wow you get a lot of special card limited edition on your unboxing video my vlog is just to show my collection back then more power to your channel dude

hands down one of the best channels on TH-cam I'm from New Zealand and I recently got me some of this series off trade me (which is like ebay) not whole set as they are extremely hard to get unless u got a small fortune but happy I got some just to reminisce of days gone by but man seeing all these were amazing thank you thank you once again for all the uploads

im from new zealand too and starting to build my set back up I still have my full hunters ans stalkers set, just ordered wolverine sinister observations.i love that card . Any places I caan look that stock cards in Nz from 94/95?thanks
I got the Cyclops and Wolverine sinister observations coming to me in graded cases, how sweet, I've seen 3 box breaks of this set and no wolverine was pulled, how rare

i remember these cards had that new card smell when i opened them back in the day.
They still have that distinctive smell but it's not as strong as I remember it being from back in the 90's.

Loved this set. FYI, there a promo Weapon X card that fits with that Exiles Sabertooth. Can’t recall any other promo card that had artwork not included in the standard set.
That's good to know, thanks. I saw that card in a collection video of someone else and was confused. I even checked my own set to see if I had it. It never occured to me that it may have been a promo. Definitely need to track it down.
@@randomcollector2353 the Weapon X card comes with Wolverine #90 deluxe edition comic book. But you can find the single on eBay if you already haven’t.

Wouldn't using his claws as a fork hurt Wolverine, when grilling? If adamantium conducts heat like any other metal, that would burn the muscular tissues in his hand and forearm, at least. Ouch
That's probably nothing compared to the pain Wolverine is used to. lol. The swimsuit/beach subset was silly anyways, so I guess it fits.
Don't forget he regenerated, so would hurt but heal immediately
First 30 seconds of the video with the background info, combined with odds in the video description, and then everything from 16:40 on is really what separates this channel from other "box breakers" on yt. Smart stuff. Way too few views for this kind of quality.

I've had the box that's on Amazon for couple years now on my wishlist, but lolol i can't justify wasting that much cash haha, as previously said i have the base set, have the Sinister Observations 1-10, Hunters & Stalkers Rainbow/Silver/Gold Sets, Suspended Animation 1-10, Uncut 9 Card Promo Sheet, 10x-Ultraprints, Weapon X, Reverse back Sauron..... Missing a range of "Uncut Card Promo Sheets" that's all i think but yea, i'm happy enough :)
Wow very nice, as you saw I'm missing a bunch of the chase cards and I've only got the Promosheet with the Big Wolverine in the middle, but I've had that for years and it's framed on a wall so I even forgot to mention it.
Did you manage to get the official binder for this set?
No, I don't have it. I keep my cards in Ultra Pro binders. I've seen it on ebay a few times, but it's to expensive for just a binder.
@@randomcollector2353 Yes, the ebay sellers get bit carried away with their prices. Just have to be patient and someone will seller at a decent price. I get my stuff from the local collector stores. Their price are very reasonable
@@haulinggoodtime Sadly here in Germany you can't find such stores. There are some comicshops that sell US comics but I haven't found any that also sell comic trading cards. So I would need to buy it on ebay and it would cost me a lot on shipping + additional taxes, that's just not worth it for me.

Nah, there the rainbow versions. Gold were jumbo pack exclusive.

I paid less, but that was almost two years ago and their price keeps rising.
@@randomcollector2353 Wow! Yesterday I paid about 23 USD for a 180 collection of some of these and a few '95 cards, which is the most complete collection. Talking about years, I'm not sure but I think this collection is older than the other '95 labeled cards. Can you explain that?
@@LESTAT260190 When you buy the cards loose they are much cheaper, except for the chase cards, which can still be pricey, but you can't complete them with a box anyway. As for the release year: I think they released them late in '94 but already had released a Fleer Ultra X-Men '94 set so they just labeled it '95 to avoid confusion.
