This 1970 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am was delivered new to Coggins Pontiac of Curham, North Carolina! Finished in a stunning Lucerne Blue and paired with its Deluxe Lucerne Blue interior! It was picked up in Maryland before its complete restoration under previous ownership in Tennessee! Equipment includes power-assisted front disc brakes, variable-ratio steering, 15″ Rally II wheels, a shaker hood, a dual-outlet exhaust system, air conditioning, a center console, and a Delco AM/FM radio with a rear speaker.
The three-spoke Formula steering wheel frames Rally instrumentation in a turned-aluminum dash panel including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with an integrated clock. The gauges were overhauled during the refurbishment. The odometer shows 87 miles and was set to 0 at the time of the restoration! Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed Turbo Hydra-matic automatic transmission and a Safe-T-Track differential! - ยานยนต์และพาหนะ

Absolutely beautiful. I have so much respect for this car, I won't even make a joke about the taillight!!!
I second that!
I third that!😂@@johndaddyetheridge7992
Beautiful. Just Beautiful.
I appreciate the fact that who ever restored it didn’t put the engine call out on the shaker. 1970 was the only year Pontiac didn’t put it on there ,
What a difference 7 years make, my 63 Chevy takes two or more revolutions to turn a corner, the Trans Am only needs 1/4 spin!
Love that blue!!
Is It A Split Window Vette?
@@user-qs8lq7ok9d No split window Vette. 4 door Belair.
The gages had chrome trim bezels in 1970. It changed to black in 1971.
I envy whoever ended up with this car.
They ran as good/strong
as they looked !
Buddy had it in white
A runnin dog ! !
Were did you get the parts for the suburban awhile back??
The storage cubby would be where the optional CB radio would do.
That space in front if the shifter was for the optional 8-track tape player.
Nice video and car, BUT why didn't you show the Ram Air opening during the aceleration? This is the difference about this year model and the 73-81 models.
Love the '70.5 Trans Ams! Had a cousin in Johnstown who had a Ram Air IV version that I got to drive a few times! But how do you run an engine built for leaded gasoline on unleaded?
I want this car.
Need to get a REAL IC steering wheel
Beautiful car !
High Performance Cars magazine tested a 1970 Pontiac Trans-Am with the "366 horsepower" Ram-Air III, 4-speed manual transmission, and 3.90 rear gears, back when they were new. It ran a best of 14.45 at 100 mph on the standing quarter mile, quite a bit slower than any 2023 4-cylinder automatic transmission base-model Ford Mustang.
Saying a ram Air 3 isn't saying what the engine is which he never does. It could have been a 455 but I believe It's a 400. Doesn't say what the rear end differential is or anything. Some car dealers just don't know how to make a video
Only the 400 V8 with RAIII or RAIV was offered in 1970. The 455 HO was available in 1971 and 1972. SD 455 in 1973 and 1974.
Sorry, but your 4 cylinder Mustang doesn't even come close to the level of coolness of this T/A
Ooff🔥🔥🔥🔥
❤ How much is this 15000 5:00 Dollar car.
and 1/2
about $40.000 over retail
Huh

Sounds Rough!
Beautiful car, Massive Wanker!🙉🙉🙉
