Uncle backed up into one driving his galaxy, after it happened he figured if his insurance was going to fix it and his payments were going to go up he figured he might as well drive a trans am too. Orange w/ white stripes. Needless to say my aunt wasn't thrilled but she ended up loving it.
my father owned one in blue, his was an automatic also. he wishes he still had it. he said if you punched the throttle it would go right to the redline and shift.
That’s a misconception passed on by uninformed people who unfortunately think they know what they are talking about. Fact is wheel trim rings were not standard equipment in 1970, but they were optional. I have one that is fully documented by Pontiac Historical Services and and GM of Canada.
Beauty rings were not an option for 15" wheels early in the production year but became an option later in the year. I'm curious to know what the build date of your car is?
No ashtrays in the back? Very clean car!
I've the 71 455ho. Defently a keeper
Beautiful car. If it was a 4 Speed it would be epic
Still Nice LOL
My brother has this exact same car here in the UK actually identical! All numbers matching to full resto

There is no decal on the shaker scoop for that year and engine.
I don't believe the ram air decal on the shake is correct for 70.
Looks better than new
you should see it in person
How much did it sell for? It's a very nice car

1970 trans am did not have chrome trim rings.
1970 year did not come with beauty rings.
