You're using a 100A DC breaker to protect the inverter, but the current from the solar panels doesn't exceed 20A. Why is a 100A DC breaker necessary? Since the inverter converts most of the current from the high wattage produced by the solar panels, the 100A breaker won't trip to protect the inverter because the current from the solar panels will never exceed 100A. Could you clarify this setup? --- Breakers should be sized appropriately based on the maximum expected current from the solar panels, allowing them to trip and protect the inverter if an overcurrent situation occurs

When you say lithium ion, do you mean LiFePO4? If so, you should be saying lithium iron phosphate battery, it's confusing otherwise!! They are not the same and shouldn't be used interchangeably
Most battery companies use BMS which are compatible with most other inverters. Its not good practice what felicity is doing by having their products incompatible with other products in the market. Compatibility means the consumers are the winners. The same way USB C laws in Europe have forced apple to use USB C instead of their own proprietary ports. I think in this case he is using the breaker as an isolator.
